I don't really know if this is the right forum to put this in, but what the hell!!!
I just have a question for the masses that sell their artwork over the internet... What is the best place to sell my artwork on the net?

There are lots of ways, I don't know which is best though...
I'll move this to the general forum, you'll probably get more help there. :)

Damn, you're getting no help here, I'll move it to the Art section.
I don't know the best places to sell art online. You can sell art through sites like Artwanted.com, but it's no easier to get buyers...
You could even try and Deviantart.com...
I have heard that a lot of people use E-bay.
ANd then you can sell your art on products at places like Cafepress and lulu.com.
But with ALL of those, YOU have to generate the interest and crum up the buyers through promotion and networking. No sites I know will do it for you :(
That's that's the sum of my knowledge. I hope someone knows more.

This site is allso used by people who want to sell artwork: http://www.imagekind.com/
I have some work up there too I think, I don't remmember making a gallery there, but they send me newsletters all the time, so I must have at some stage...?
Yeah, I saw my work there, must have been something I did once when I wan't thinking.
Anyway, it's seems to be very focused on selling art.

I still will never know why artists want to sell their original works...
I mean, it's something that took you so long to draw, and you're going to sell it? I guess I'm just one of the ones that like to keep everything to see how much I've improved over the years.
..or maybe I'm just a packrat :p

To tell the truth I used to keep everything, and I mean everything I drew... That would involve drawing papers, notebook, rules paper, cardboard, photo's, pants... The list goes on and on...
I've always had a deep love for my artwork, evn to this day... And yea, I hate parting ways with something that I put some much time, effert, and heart into. I used to hand my artwork to people fearing some day they would throw it away, because after all... Their not an artist, and they don't have a clue as to how much effert went into the artwork of it all.
Then there's another side of me that wishes to get my artwork noticed, and out there for the world to see. I think thats why I have started to sell cerain pieces of artwork Number one: At least I'm getting paied for the work I've done, and two, so my artwork is on someone elses wall outside of my own.

You wouldn't happen to have any suggestions as to how to go about networking... Would you.

Networking.... Well commenting on lots of different message boards... If you have art up in a gallery say at Deviant art or Elfwood you'd do best to comment daily on lots of people's art and their galleries, (not obvious self promotion though), make friends and be friendly and people will come to you.
You could also offer free commissions or "requests" to drum up interest and say you'll do more elaborate work for money... But only after you've drummed up a bit of interest first. Doing fanart work for super popular comics and people could be a good way. I know that dork who caused all that trouble for Squidi back in the day (Tubesteak Samurai or something) was a SUPER whore for that and it worked spectacularly! ^__^
Look, I'm no expert on the subject though, I've never been that successful selling work online, and I've not been that interested in it for years... My best advice is to spread yourself around and spread yourself thin! Best art networking is done at places like Deviant art and Artwanted.com. Then there's always MySpace! Great place for networking and getting people to know what you're doing and wait to buy from you...
But again I just don't know :(

You poor, poor man!!! Thanks for the advice though... Even though I'll never get into Deviant art. I'll give the other sites a try when I free up some time. I've already got a MySpace... I just don't think that alot of people on there talk to me for my artwork though.
I've thought about putting S.B.B. onto another web site, but sadly I don't have enough strips up... I'll get around to it.
