Any one read it yet? I thought it was a pretty good ending to the series.

It was indeed awesome. It's a little sad that there will never be any more Scott Pilgrim comics though!
I guess we've still got the film and the game and their alternate endings to look forward to.

Ah, so it IS based off a comic book! I'm sad to say I'd actually never heard of Scott Pilgrim until I saw the movie trailers. When I first saw them I thought, "Huh, that actually looks pretty original. It must be based off of a book or something, because these days Hollywood isn't quite keen on actually creating an original story without taking the story from another source." And lo and behold, I was right!
Based just off of what I see from Google Images, I quite dig the art... I'm definitely gonna have to check it out!

I thought it tied the series up fairly well, it wasn't the strongest book in the series in my opinion though. Somehow the timing of the jokes wasn't as on it seemed like. I really liked it though, don't get me wrong. It brought some of Scott's character traits that weren't really addressed before, which I probably shouldn't get too into-- spoilers and all.

They're not getting it until Tuesday here and I was so pissed off when I found out. I don't even know why, they just... don't have it yet. Guess I should have preordered it online. :l
I'm hoping it's awesome, though. Really looking forward to the movie too.

I wasn't remotely interested in this and the hype for the film only made me avoid looking it up in wiki even more. Then when Isukun started gushing on the video game, I finally looked up "Scott Pilgrim wiki."
Artist Bryan O'Malley... Mal?!?! Holy s--t, he made it! Starving artist no more!
Back when we were all in college, we were all in Impromanga.com together, and I collaborated (along with bunches of other artists) with him on some webcomics. Man we were all such assholes... Anyways, I never ever thought he'd ever get past the "starving artist" stage. He's a competent comics artist/writer, but he wasn't like... "I sparkle in the sunlight" or anything.
Well now, now he's got a movie that has hit the cultural mainstream even before it's out. I can only imagine the money he'll get from the merchandising, as long as he's smart about the business side of it. Wow, he made it... Heh.

Ha, interesting. I didn't start reading Scott Pilgrim until Volume 4, after Scott Pilgrim was pretty popular. On top of the video game and the movie, the final volume sold out of it's first print run of 100,000 in just a few days, I think. So it's kind of hard for me to picture Bryan Lee O'Malley in his starving artist days, ha.
You should give the series a chance, despite all the hype. You might enjoy it. Or at least catch the movie at a matinee or something. I thought it was really good, but it's not doing too well at the box office.

Never read the comic, and don't know if I ever will get into it, nor am I sure if I'll ever get to see the movie, since I'm not into the comic. However, I just saw a review for the game on G4 last night and it looked awesome! I love how it's like the old TMNT or Final Fight games. I'd definitely be all for giving that a shot. :-D
