I was thinking about using charcoal in some pages of my upcoming comic. I'd rather not(and I can't) use an aerosol fix on it. Anyone has ideas of how, if possible, I could scan pages with charcoal art without dirtying the scanner, and more important, smudging all the drawing?

Use cheap hairspray to fix it. Works.
