Well we all know that Platinum/DD are skipping the big con [comic-con.org] this year, but what about the rest of us? Who's going? I've got my 4-day ticket paid for already.

I plan to do do San Diego next year, and have a big booth. I should have Engine vol#2 and 3 by then, as well as an art book and other goodies. I wasn't prepared this year. San Diego is a con, that, if you are a publisher, you absolutely have to be ready and stocked up, since booths cost over 1700.00 big ones......ugh!!!

I'll have a few other button designs to stick on the cards when they get delivered either Monday or Tuesday (cutting it close, I know).

Booths is expensive. No wonder so many collectives team up to get a communal space. That might be something to think about for next year, an unofficial DD booth.

I have a feeling we're going to be hip-deep in Jokers, too.

I am so going next year. It will be my first time. I'll take any tips on how to get my stuff out there aside from the usual stuff.

I was right, there were a lot of Jokers. Even at least two in the nurse outfit.

I didn't meet anybody that I thought I might, but I did meet Aaron Nelson , author of Marlow .

He's the first person I've ever met (in person) who already knew of my strip. That was very cool.

Dude it was crazy!! i didnt even see the people i came with half the time so i pretty much gave up hope of meeting anyone else lol altho it wouldve been nice, all in all i had a great time higlights include the watchmen panel and getting Girl Jesus hated on at the freebies table.


Im totally down with an unoffical DD table or booth or something next year so lets keep bumping and see what we can come up with!
