hi everyone, i'm new to this site but have had a nasty time of getting my avatar to load.

i read faq the selection on loading images but i still can't get it to work. does (ctrl F5) only work in internet explorer? i run off of mac and tried this in safari but it didn't do squat. i've tried both jpg and png files.

any thoughts / experience with this?

I'm not sure how to help you with Safari, but there are a couple of other browsers you could try using:
Firefox , or Camino [mozilla.org], both made by Mozilla may work with the site a little better. Both work on Macs ^_^

Anyway, it's not loading for me either. Is it a GIF, JPEG, or PNG/under max file size/no greater than 100x100 pixels?

oh my my! thank you therealtj! i forgot to try it as a GIF! i've had the same problem loading JPG/PNG icons on deviant. don't know why i forgot about GIFs
