Poor Shilpa Shetty, the "Bollywood" actress, a warrent was also issued for her arrest and after her '96 obscenity charges (for showing her navel) she is the one I feel actually bad for is this situation. It doesn't keep me up at night or anything. But, bless her heart...she did look uncomfortable when Gere was mackin' on her.

I saw Gere on The Daily Show and he was jovial about the whole situation. This should be a warnin' to businesspeople travelin' abroad...Check up on local customs (otherwise...some poor schmo businessman stumbles into "Woman's Town" and finds himself doin' dishes instead of makin' it to the big meeting concerning global expansion.)

Every country has their "issues", but what I don't understand is that lawyer filing the suit without the consent of the actress. Isn't that kind of important. Making sure that the so called victim actually, I don't know, feels like they were wronged?
