So I just got my Game Informer, and their big article this month was about... yeah, if I have to tell you you're an idiot.

Anyway, this one is apparently set in America. Hale is still busy killing stuff and slowly turning into a Chimera, it turns out there are OTHER people like Hale who are resistant to Chimera-ness, and the Chimera apparently have giant airship things now.

tl;dr humanity is screwed.

That's most of what they said about the story. In fact, that's pretty much all of it. HOWEVER, they said some awesome stuff about the multiplayer.

First off, there will be 60-man squad based multiplayer games. I'm pretty sure they'll still have your standard Deathmatch on smaller scale, but apparently they found out that it's a bit weird to try Deathmatch with 60 pplz.

Second, there's an 8-man co-op mode. This isn't, however, going to work like most co-op games. It's actually a seperate storyline that focuses on those other people I talked about earlier with the Chimera antibodies or whatever. They didn't say much about the story, though. The DID mention, however, that it would be class based. They showed three classes. There's a Tank class, who uses a chaingun and can make shields. There's a Sniper class who uses what's basically a Bullseye with a scope. And then there's the Medic class which kills enemies in order to charge up his healing abilities. They're apparently customizable in some way. I'm hoping to see them add in a few more classes, just because I really like to have a lot of things to choose from.

A few other random tidbits:
-The AI will be better.
-They're fixing some minor graphical problems.
-The story will focus more on Hale this time, and not have the whole "Hey, I'm a random British girl and I like to talk" thing going on.
-The release date is some time this Fall.

So there you go.

Cool. If I had a PS3, I'd be excited. I don't have one yet, though.
