should i REALLY get a ds lite im saving money for a wii but you know is it really THAT worth it?

DS Lite is a pretty version of the old brick, so if you already have the original just get a Wii. If you don't, it's really a matter of what you like to do.

I'm very happy with my DS Lite purchase. So far I've found plenty of games from all sorts of genres to enjoy.

But I guess the real question is, is it worth delaying getting a Wii to get one? I can't answer that. Just look at games like Super Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros. Brawl, and Metroid Prime 3 and ask yourself, "Can I wait for these games?" If you answer anything other than no, then go ahead with your DS. The Wii will still be there in a year, and with even better games.

If you already have a regular DS, save your money for the Wii (unless, like Hawk says, you feel like you can wait). Otherwise, spring for the DS Lite - I love mine, because it's nifty and easy to use and plays even old GBA games with no trouble. And there's all sorts of DS games across all sorts of genres that are worth playing.

If you already have a DS and for SOME reason want a Wii, go with the Wii. If you DON'T have a DS, I'd have to recommend pretty much anything over the Wii. Of course, if you SOMEHOW don't have a PS2, get that instead.

Dammit, can't we have one thread about a system that doesn't turn into a "My system is better than your system" argument?

Anyway, as for the Wii vs. DS thing; right now, the DS has more good games. The Wii has a few, and its certainly more impressive in its own way, but when it comes to quality, straightforward "gaming", the DS is the way to go.

Should I buy a PS3, or a trash bag full of dirty diapers? It's a really really really really tough choice. The PS3 smells better, but I think I might be able to have more fun with the dirty diapers.

Sorry, just having fun with you, Shplane. :) Don't take it seriously. I'll have a PS3 probably before the year is over. In the meantime, I think for MechaZeep the better investment would be the Wii rather than the PS2, but let's not get into another silly argument over this.

Heh. Only person I get annoyed over that with anymore is Terminal, and that's just because he won't shut up about it.

And sure about the no argument. Though I would like to assert that NO system is a better buy than the PS2.

peoples i dont like sony.the only ps2 game i liked (i played it at a friends house) was godzill. im more of a nintendo and microspht kidda guy so im proably save up for a wii since it has brawl.
