As the title says!
I have a comic idea in my head and know some scenes I would like to have in it. However, I have really bad at judging what "rating" the various forms of media should have.
I intend to write a story based around vampires. Generally, this means that at some point, there will be blood. Possibly a lot, I'm not sure, I haven't started planning out the details in pictures.
I also think there will be a bit of creative censorship within it. No upfront nudity, though possibly a full, nude back view. (As any other way to describe it feels too crude for me to say :( )
Are there suggestions for what rating a comic with this content would be? What else would be in those perimeters so I know what I may work with in this story?
Thanks much!

It's all in the portrayal but at least teen by the sounds of it.

Sounds Teen to me. If you still have more trouble, just think of it in terms of the movie or video game rating systems.

I'd think of it as a movie. What rating would your comic be if it were a movie? If there's some blood and maybe one fleeting scene of implied nudity from the back, then that sounds to me like PG-13, or comic rating of Teen. If the bloody scenes get a little gruesome and/or the nudity points to an "adult situation" (such as implied sex or rape or something), then that sounds like an R, or comic Mature.
