Used Books
It's really well-written with characters that are really well thought out. The crime-drama premise is not done often in webcomics, and that's one thing that really makes Used Books stand out. Although the coloring is very strong, the anatomy leaves a bit to be desired, although it has improved quite a bit. Overall I'd say 4/5

Arbitrary Comix
Hm.
I can't make up my mind about this one. The first story, done originally on post-it notes, is actually pretty fun. The sketchy aspect and the lack of dialogue make the whole thing seem intentional and sort of sweet.
The final page, done in a more traditional style, is also amusing to some degree but I think the sketchiness works against it by undermining the humor with bad production. It's fine to draw sketchy characters and backgrounds but, if you're going to use panel borders, then actually drew them. make them straight. or toss them. or make them crooked. whatever , just make sure it looks like you did it on purpose.
The hangup for me is with the text. Sketchy is fine for an artistic style but you expect people to read this stuff. That means you have to make it as easy as possible for them to do so. Sketchy words are sloppy.
All in all I actually liked this comic, it did make me smile, but the sketchiness started to look sloppy and took away from the overall enjoyment.
4/10 (sorry)

Dreamnasium - Interesting style you have there. The linework is so nice and clean, and I love the character designs! I think what I like most are the bright colors you use for the colored pages. I wasn't able to read through the whole archives just yet (sorry!), but I like what I've see so far.

OK for korosu
Um, I looked at faust cause it has less pages :)
lets judge by story pacing art and Creativitly
Story-wise, Right now there is just not enough pages to see too deep into the story but it does seem quite promising. However market lady's dialogue seems abit rough at setting up the situation. If handled more smoothly it would of been perfect.
The pacing in general is pretty nice. And its super easy to read and to understand whats going on. So thats great so far.
The character art is absolutely gorgeous and I can tell you spend alot of time on the people and the shading, but the backgrounds seems lacking. I also wished you'd use a greater range of contrast for your greys because sometimes it just doesn't pop.
Creativity wise its a solid manga type comic but not enough pages yet to see anything special.
I give it an 8.5/10
solid art, great pacing, promising story.

The Third
An interesting story and a fast read, the 3rd is a story that looks like its beginning to hit it's prime. It first gives the impression of being a war-buddy story, following the exploits of three childhood friends during their first deployment, but the plot developments near the end propel it into something larger.
Art: 3.5/5
Overall, the art works fairly well. There are times when the figures are stiff, and the facial expressions don't always synch up with the dialogue, but those are the biggest gripes and they rarely distracted me from the story. The color pages punctuate the story amazingly and rocked my world.
Story: 4/5
It's hard to tell where the story is going exactly, but it looks like it's building towards something exciting. Pieces have been put into place, and my interest is piqued. Now it's just a matter of seeing how the author pulls it together. There are a few aspects that feel a little over done, like with the protagonist's eyes, but I'm willing to run with it and see where it goes.
Overall, I'd give the 3rd a 3.5/5. I have to say that I enjoyed reading it. It's not a comic I'd force onto anybody, but it's still worth sitting down and enjoying if you have a bit of spare time.

Salt the Holly, I like how the story is rather involved but occasionally there's random breaks of crazy humor. The characters mostly seem like average people (with obvious exceptions like Cade,) and I think that goes far in making them interesting and easy to relate to. I'd say the art's improved quite a bit recently as well, character's having better-rendered anatomy and a good sense of movement. One caveat I will say is the backgrounds tend to be a bit stark, almost empty at times, apart from that it's lookin' good! 4.2/5

Cricket's Creature -
Storytelling - That's definively a "MUST READ" story. patrickdevine explores the steampunk genre in a fresh way, instead of other works that may look stale. You can catch yourself wondering what's gonna happen in the next page.
The comic isn't focused in action or drama or anything, which is very pleasing, since there's lack of well balanced stories. You can get a little of everything in Cricket's Creature!
Art - Despite the sketchy look of Cricket's Creature, the author has a concern in adding details to the pages, and he gets (much) better since page 1. The reader can see all the buckles, earrings and stuff in characters. The backgrounds are also well made.
The only not-so-good thing I could point in CC is that the gorgeous sketchy look of the comic can be seen for readers eager for "oh-so-awesome" art as unattractive...
CC's is one heck of a good comic and everyone that read this thread should take a look at it. SERIOUSLY.

Telenime: This is really quite a fun comic. My favorite bit was "The Drunk Show" though the host was pretty coherant for being drunk. The one thing that you did that I thought really took away from the reading experience was devoting a section of the pages to explain the creative process. Doing things like that as a stand alone, (like a tutorial or whatever,) can actually be really cool but halting the story to explain how you draw can make the comic somewhat frustrating to read. Overall I'd have to say 2.5/5, it's a fun comic anyway!
Freakenburg: I like this one, it's still way early in the story but it's off to a good start. I like the Eastern Bloc sort of feel to the setting. The only thing I can say to improve it is update it more often! 3.9/5.

Crickets Creature-
Totally worth reading. I found it hard not to be courious at what was going to be happening next, full of wounderfully designed characters and modern day/indurtral day settings, really sucks you it.
Loved the fact that its kinda based on the Industrail days, but has modern day settings so that people can relate to the comic more. Would like you to work on the back round a little more, but its still good anyways.
Great story telling, a bit bumpy but easy to follow and understand. It has a little bit of something for mostly everyone who would like to read a good comic.
Dis comic gets a 5/5.

well I read through this without reading any comments, just the comics pages and they were good. The story jumps around a certain amount but that adds to the intriging nature of the comic. I guess the fact that I'll be returning later to find out what happens to all the characters is a pretty good sign that the story was good, though still slightly confusing. The art has a very good quality of line, interesting use of composition, shading, and a good use of the page, not always including borders or backgrounds when they are unnecessary, which is a good thing. There are really some lovely moments, the twist of a heel or the blink of some eyes which really make this stand out. However, it is very clearly home-made with marker pens which shows slightly too much for my liking. The fonts used for dialogue also jar with the images as do the speech bubbles around them. At one point the font was really too small to read but it wasn't too distracting. Overall, a worthwhile comic but one I found rather hard to get into at first. Still, seems to be under control and I'll give it a 4/5.
