If anyone else has subscribed to the DD news feed RSS, is it doing funny things for you? There have been a couple times now where it's loaded up some super old newspost and said it's a new one. I'm just using google's rss reader, but it's never done that with any other feeds I get.

I've been busy making final adjustments for a comic that'll launch next year, and all day I've been hearing that Trojan condom ad that pops up every. single. time the page reloads. Suffice it to say, it's driving me nuts.

Me and my family aren't celebrating xmas this year. Instead we're opening presents on new years eve to celebrate the new year and hope for good changes. :) But we went out to dinner earlier and it was very nice. Mom also got me a card 'from' my cat, i thought that was so clever haha.

It's ten pm and things are ready for christmas. Kids are going to love it. I should get some sleep no doubt they will be up stupidly early.
What did you get them?
Scalextric, ds games, camera, train sets etc.
regretting some of the choices, even the jack daniels isn't dulling the noise.

Ad blocker is your friend.
On the plus side that is the better sort of trojan to have pop up on your computer.

i don't know if it means anything, but i intentionally avoid Drunk duck these days (namely yesterday, and today) because of the annoying ads. not enough time to pause them...too much time to listen to them.

Merry -is it Boxer Day today?
Had a nice quiet day with the nuclear yesterday and then we were suppose to drive out today and see some extended, but weather forecast indicates a blizzard starting up midday and continuing through until tomorrow morning. The down side of a holiday in winter (so warm Christmases can be a plus, ey Oz?)
The rub is that tomorrow am suppose to fly out for more visiting, and who knows what kind of delays and cancellations could happen. Keeping fingers crossed (hard to type)
Have to mention: one gift received was "Australian Apricots" Huge, huge apricot halves that have been candied -- yummy!

my head is going blank. Data seems to be rushing into my head that I cannot decipher and also it seems like my conscious mind isnt picking up and its all being downloaded into the subconscious mind.
It only starts making sense when I suddenly see something and I go... "OMG! I saw that before!!!"
I just wanna feel like isolating myself and not talking to anyone.

So we got 12-18 inches of snow and a state of Emergency in New Jersey. But there's also high winds and white out conditions not just four inches of powder on the runway.
Crikey some Europeans can be such weenies. Four inches of snow at Moscow Airport is called standard operating weather.

I don't mind the ads but is there some reason I keep getting Victoria's secret, Trojan condom and camera ads? Is the ad content somehow based on the content of my comic? If it is that's really good targeted advertising.

Yup. Huge drifts. I stepped out and the snow was mid-thigh. I think the last time we had a storm like this was in 96 (wow that sounded old: back in aught-2 . . .)
It is very pretty, especially with the sand dune effect from all the strong wind. But I'm suppose to be on a plane at 7 PM tonight. arg

I switched to an oil painterly style for the comic coloring. It works so much better than crappy cell shading, but it is soooo time consuming @_@ I could probably do 4 pages for every one color page.
Here's how it's coming so far, i still have a lot to do and sparkly gold lighting to add:
Got my dad a cool "xmas" gift. It's three seasons of star trek remastered that have cool little cases. My mom's gifts are so lame though ._.

Ha! Been inking the last two days. Sadly, it goes slower than pencilling (which is much looser and thus faster and there's less strain put on my arm/wrist) but 6 pages inked in two days is not bad.
So, six inked, 32 to go.

But if I remain on the ground there's lots of predators and a hostile environment that is very harmful and may even drive me to commit suicide because its just HELL. lol!
