Pick one of your favorite webcomics. It can't be your own. It doesn't have to be on Drunk Duck.
Explain why you are obsessed with this comic.
Tell everything you like about it.
Yap about the story.
The best jokes/gags.
Character obsessions.
Tell everything you hate about it.
Say what you think the future of this comic will be.
Add a link to that comic.
Once a rant and rave of a comic has been made no one else can rant about the same webcomic.(you can still quote and reply to comments)
This isn't a review of a webcomic... it's everything that you keep squished inside you that you been wanting to say. I picked favorite webcomics because I don't want insults. Now I don't want any jealousy or haters either if your webcomic is not ranted about. You all got a webcomic you love ,but looking through this forum I see you don't get your chance to yap about it. Well yep about it here. Also you can post about more than one webcomic ,but try to keep the rant in one comic for every one reply. DON'T give a list... give a rant and rave.

http://www.drunkduck.com/Gnoph/
I'm going to talk about Gnoph. That comic's crazy. I got into it when it started. Mina Lunga updates almost every day! There's so many darn mixed media technics used in that comic you think it'd take a week.
She tends to post up all her fanart and filler art so it's like a 50/50 chance of getting a real update. I don't really think her previous comic was as successful as Gnoph. Sure they had interesting characters, but I like how Gnoph focuses on fewer characters: Will and Abbey. There are the gnophs(intelligent parasites) in the two main characters too, but I used to think of them as pet/mascot characters. Even though recently Lyss(Will's gnoph) is becoming more of a humanoid character of the story through her communication with Will.
I really wonder if Mina's going kill off Abby and Scut... She killed off main characters before in her A'kni'att story. Abby looks so terrible now. I don't even know if Gnoph have regeneration powers or not to regain her normal appearance.
One thing I wonder if Will is from the past or from another planet or country or something. It just doesn't make sense if he's from the past. Think of the ways of messing up time and stuff...
Mina tends to make fun of her character Will for being a pansy or something. I think of Will as the character the audience is supposed to relate to and use to make an introduction to the world where people use parasites for powers.
One thing I don't know really what is going to happen next in the story. It's going so well, I'm impressed that Mina can maintain a solid scientific research job and a couple webcomics at once.
I am hoping that Gnoph will be a long running story webcomic. I don't want to see it end just yet.

Ladies and gentlemen. I am obsessed with A Lesson Is Learned But The Damage Is Irreversible .
I met it on the street some years ago. The writing was still in its awkward "I guess we're being funny" phase, the art still rather representational. I thought it had a lot of character, though, so I asked it for its address.
What I didn't realize was that I would keep coming back to it.
With each new installment the stories got progressively weirder and more profound, the art more and more beautiful and expressionist. I watched as it grew to become something more sublime and amazing than I could ever hope to attain in my art. Sometimes, in the ramen shop on McClellan Boulevard, I would hide behind a copy of the Baltimore Real Estate Guide while, sitting at another table, it would slowly sip a styrofoam cup full of scalding hot green chai tea and not stare at anything in particular. The experience was breathtaking.
Nowadays, it's moved up in the world. It's winning awards, prizes, acclaims, and it's getting recognized as a work of art even outside its normal social circles. I'm left catching glimpses of it, watching it surrounded by a pack of artsy-looking college kids outside of a parking garage, signing autographs and looking pretty in that "conceptual visionary" sort of way.
I watch.
And I sigh.
And I think, for a moment, what could have been. A Lesson Is Learned But The Damage Is Irreversible, we could have been something together. But now I must observe you only from a distance, through the metaphorical telescope of chance encounter, a tiny, cold comet that hangs in space for years just to catch a glimpse of the burning, white-hot sun.

That was...uh...strangely poetic, Ian.
Anyway, I'm obsessed (and have been for a while) with No Need for Bushido. And, I mean, why shouldn't I be? It's funny as hell, the art is just super-spiffy, the artist has helped me out a lot, and the coloring just keeps getting better and better. The alternate scripts go from profound to absurd to just plain hilarious, and the voting incentives are nice. Plus the April Fools day thing was really involved. Just a really cool comic all around. Cho is great...
But if I have to rave about a DD comic...let's see here. Gnoph's already been covered, I already wrote a review of TEO, and Oh Brother Qlippoth kinda doesn't update much anymore. Two Moons is a classy comic, full of mystery and involved characters. However I need to catch up on reading that. Gnoph is definitly a phenominal piece of work.
The Gods of Arr-Kelaan: Going Home storyline was one of the best comics on DD though. It just felt really natural. There seemed to be a home base to the story in 'Going Home' and I've been waiting to get BACK into that home base feel since Going Home ended. Myths and Legends was a nice little side plot, but it didn't really do it for me. I'm hoping Consequences brings back a central plot with all the core characters into the story. I mean, it's obviously far from finished.
The Planet Closest to Heaven is cool. The first chapter or so was kind of confusing, but I've really gotten into the plot. 10 chapters, or 'Visions' in and things are getting intresting. But there's still so much mystery surrounding the events.
Arch Angel has been on a kind of haitus and isn't very far into the story yet, but Vampire Phantasm is getting better. I'm still waiting for a major plot to unfold.
Yeah, I think I covered about all of my favorite DD comics there.

Does this count as a webcomic? http://www.redvsblue.com ?
I mean, it could be construed as a webcomic.. it's on the web. It is funny....
I'm pretty much obsessed with it because the writing is sooooo good and hilarious, the characters and everything.
Everything is pretty well thought out, and never really done slip-shod. If you have a problem with the videos, and you email them they actually get back to you.
Basically, for those of you who /don't/ know about RvB, it's a story about the red team of blood gultch 1 and the blue team fo blood gultch outpose alpha. It starts with just them fighting, and has sprawled into a large time travling quest to kill an evil AI.
My favorite joke - the one I remember laughing the hardest at ever - was in the early episodes of season 2 -
Doc: I'm a pacsifist
Caboose: You're a thing that baby's suck on?
Tucker: No dude, that's a pedophile.
I also enjoyed from season 1:
Tucker: You should blame God, first he makes hangovers, then he makes half women-half sharks that won't even sleep with me. Thanks for nothing, God!
And from season 3:
Sarge: I have no earthly idea what it is I just saw, or what this place is, or where in the hell O’Malley is. My only choice is to blame Grif, for coming up with such a flawed plan. Stupid, stupid Grif.
I am obsessed with Church - he is my favorite. He is mean, and angry and probably has the most lines. He died once, and is currently a ghost inhabiting a robot body. After Church I like Grif the best, who is orange, not yellow. He hates the army and is generally sarcastic and unitersted and is hated by Sarge.
I hate to admit it, but the 3rd season falls a little flat, it has great moments, but isn't as funny as seasons 1 or 2. Season 4 is much better, though, another irriating thing is that Caboose's voice now sounds more like Wade from The Strangerhood than Caboose (I think they're both voiced by the same guy).
Hopefully, in the end, Tucker will get the Sniper Rifle.

Of course, if you don't consider that a webcomic, I submit to you http://www.catharsiscomic.com
This is a cute webcomic - been updating everyday since November 2002.
It's nice clean humor, that isn't always laugh outloud, but always makes me smile.
It's about this girl, Gwen, who lives with a dragon, talking dust bunnies, a ninja kitty, a sock puppet pirate, a talking squirrel, wild cherries, The Cute Guy Gwen has a crush on, and just intorduced, are a gargoyle and his owner.
I'm really into the current plot of Aya the ninja kitty going back into the land of the dust bunnies where thousands of dust mites lay in wait to take revenge on her for the slaughter she was responsible for a while back, while Baxter - the squirrel, goes looking for her (after setting the dust bunnies on fire.
Some of my favorite gags are in the very beginning - what got me into Catharsis - like Baxter being asleep, and Rremly (the dragon) thinking he was dead, and then wearing him as a hat, trying to flush him down the toilet, etc...
While the doodles and art peices are funny and pretty, sometimes I just wish JB didn't update, and just waited until she had another part of the story to continue with, because they can be distracting (though I have to admit that some of the doodle jokes are my favorites). Also, the art changed sometimes. I understand why the breaks in story and the change in her stlye (after all, she is committed to updating everyday, and to keep herself interested in the comic she needs to change drawing styles occaisonally) but those are areas where I sometimes just get lukewarm to annoyed about.
I'm not sure about the future - I mean, it's going to go on for a while yet (I hope) but I can't even guess where JB's going next with it.

Shit, someone derailed this thread. Let's make it all right again.
Now, I have to tell the story of two webcomics that I really love. Such A Simple Life . Possibly, the only comic on the Duck that is really, well. About everything. In words, it's the Beck of DrunkDuck webcomics. Oil Pastels, Sprites, MS Paint, animated comics and great writing. Gregory is a genius. From Huntchback complaing about his back growing arms and insulting him, to the fact that his TV system is a cardboard box with Dan Rather drawn on it. (if nothing else, you could at least draw a better channel than CBS) The pelvic thrusts, Steve: The Detective and Bruce Campbell.
Also, Lucid Dreams , a cute little comic that I enjoy more than all of the other comics on the Duck, a nice little manga that's also stylish in it's Sephia tones. Too bad, the author doesn't update that much.
There was also two other comics I loved from the now dead Jelly Creations, Captain Ahab and Salty and Rabid Yosh Baby. Which are no longer online, shame. They were great comics.
.: Myxomatosis :.

I Come From Mars
I am obsessed with this comic because of the drawing style, and the humor. XD It's all with pencil, and according to the artist/writer "badly" drawn. I love how it's sketchy, but still a DAMN worthy piece of art.
What I like most is the artwork, of course, but also the plot. Sure, we've had the typical comics about aliens coming down 'n at, but this comic goes beyond that. It even includes a shibby little info tidbit about Atlantis (which, by the way, is always the key to my heart. That and zombies. *drool*). I love how the characters interact too. Just GAH, giggle!
The story line is defintely great. When the reader first comes into it, it's only about an alien taking over a human body. But as you read more, it gets much more in depth and makes you sympathize with everyone.
XD Just read the comic, their expressions 'n at are defintely worth it.
Oh, uhm.... Mervin. *heart* He's such a geek, it's darling!
What I hate about it.... Uhm, to tell the truth, I'm the stupid type of fangirl. ^.^; If I really REALLY love something, I don't hate it. But honestly, I guess I could comment that sometimes the drawings are off? Which is unfair to say, considering that the artist even says that it's "badly" drawn. >.>
Teh future.... HM. I think that Mervin will eventually come to terms with Unbi in his head, hopefully Kimmy and Mervin will become a couple too. >.>

Vampire Phantasm
I only just recently started reading VP, and I am so obsessed now its not funny. ^__^ I read through the archives (three times), then I read through the old comic archives (three times), and now I am desperately hoping that Sarah keeps it going.
The art is gorgeous, the story is addictive and the characters ... >__> I must admit to a severe weakness for homicidal white-haired men, and this Sarah has definitely covered. </fangirl>
As for the future ... well, I'm hoping we get to see more of Jack and Orlock's past. Torture is the purest form of love <3 Mostly though, I'd just like to see the story continue.
As for things I hate ... I can't really think of any. XD I'm head over heels in love with this comic.
So, congratulations Sarah for converting me. d^__^b I used to hate vampire stories.
(edit: CCS mentioned VP ... but it was hardly a rant ^__^;)

Okay, let's do this. Questionable Content
First off, funny as hell. A perverted miniture robot PC, goth girl going emo, goth nympho trying to drop that reputation, indie kid that can take a joke too far and has a harem of women he'll never sleep with, his friend who's doing it with a naive marine biology student, a creepy chick with OCD and the indie kid's band. What more could you want?
Jokes take shots at technology, society, religion, sub-cultures and other random stuff. Writing and art are hella good as well. I would reccommend this to any one
No nudity (Occasional toplessness but nothing visible) but occasional language
Memorable Quotes
---
'Only thing worse than the cramps is how horny I get'
'It's a good thing a lesser man isn't here or he'd make some lude comment'
'If that lesser man were here he'd have his balls in a vicegrip'
Hippy: I can't believe you serve lobster here (Waiter turns to leave) yeah, that's right, go to free the innocent animal you're torturing
Waiter: (Comes back with a live lobster on a plate) I freed this one, he's all yours (It clamps onto the Hippy's hair)
Hippy: Ah! Killit!
Until next time
