So, I've been teachin' myself to draw and I think I'm almost to the point where I am ready to do a new webcomic. My question is. This comic I'm thinkin' on is gonna' be dirty. Funny, but dirty...Filthy really.

So, what I'm wondering, is there a way to make your first page, like tell people they have to PQ me and I'll send them a password? Or they have to click that they are of age? 'Cause I don't want any little 13 year olds. I know they aren't supposed to be able to get in there, but I see 'em in the "Top Drawer."

What's your advice?

There's no way to do the password thing here at DD

As for a warning page, the best thing to do is set up your account like Lothar's done with Grind . What he's done is activate the "home page" feature, and on his home page he's removed his comic page and simply replaced it with a warning image that links to the latest page of his comic. This means that whenever anyone clicks on his comic link from his profile, they go straight to his warning page first.

Another way to do it is the way kennatsu of Pr0nCrest has done it: He's put a warning banner above his comic so that it's the first thing you see when you visit it. You have to scroll down to see the page.


-the only requirement for the Top Drawer is that you have 50 posts. There IS a NSFW thread there, but people aren't automatically restricted from that (which is why we don't have any naughty pics or anything there, simply text), we just manually exclude youngsters from posting in that thread.
