If people did blew up the LAPD's phones, all for some rich girl, what would be the consequences for the other people in LA? It's not pretty. No matter how you look at it, my mind still can't comprehened that as rational.

Yeah, he might be part of "the Sheriff's office" but that means different things depending on where it is. It's probably not a part of the LAPD, at least in a functional police enforcement sense. I know that "the sheriff's office" here is simply to do with enforcing the wishes of the court and nothing to do with the police office.

Ah, well. I guess she's back in jail. I must gleefully conceeed that I was wrong. Maybe, just maybe, she'll come out a better person for this. But I'm not holding my breath.

Still, the fact that the Hiltons can jump the line of visitors still bugs me. That and I heard the average inmate costs the prison/county/state/country about $55/day. This little brat is about $1500/day.

Here's what I would do if Hilton Sr. tried jumping ahead of me.

Me: Hey, you! Back of the line, wait your turn!

Hilton: How dare you! Don't you know who I am?

Me: Does it look like I care?

In defense of Paris Hilton, she did have jobs so if by doing something with her life you mean that, then yes she has done something with her life. (She has modeled, performed in movies, was in a reality TV series, and released a music album.) You can argue that much of what she did wasn't successful but that's just another argument altogether.

I'm not a fan of Paris Hilton but I honestly don't feel that kind of venom towards her as other people do. So she's rich and stands to inherit millions of dollars...so what really? It doesn't really impact me at all. Not like those were my millions.

On the Daily Show the other day, Jon Stewart reached the conclusion that either we are a seriously messed up society or Paris Hilton is a virgin to be worshipped.
