Perhaps we could try some kinda 24 hour comic like thing?
That's one of the things I was thinking of...but the Platinum folks are usually on top of stuff like that. Random Jams and Iron Artist type stuff pop up. I'm talking STUPID games that we'll laugh like idiots during and leave with fond memories. Though, really, I hope we're all too busy doing sketches for people to find the time to goof off (though, that's never stopped me before).
Here's a glimpse:
1)
Scavenger hunt. It's the old faithful of convention games. I've already got the list made up, and the DD tables will be split into two teams. This'll happen on Saturday (because it seems like that's when there'll be the most of us there). Each team will have from 2pm until the dealer room closes to complete as much as they can.
Prizes to be announced.
2)
The "Meow" game. If you haven't seen "Super Troopers", I suggest you rent it. The "Meow" game will be judged on how many times you can slip the word "Meow" into a conversation explaining your comic(s) to an unsuspecting con-goer. Bonus points if you slip it in while talking to anyone important. This game is fun because it never ends, really. Plus, everyone else involved can try and make the person saying "meow" laugh.
3)
Cos-play "Go Fish" drinking game. Everybody takes random pictures of people in costume during friday and saturday. Saturday night, we all get together and basically play "go fish" with our cameras. Example:
Wing: Got any Wolverine?
Riot: Yep. *shows screen on camera, a guy in wolverine costume* How about you? Got any...Catwoman?
Wing: Nope, Go Fish sucka!
*Riot does a shot*
4) Dumbest giveaway item. Let's face it, some of the booths at comic cons give away some stupid stuff. Ask your new Drunk Duck buddy to watch you table for a few, and go wander around. See what free stuff you get and bring it back. At the end of the day, we'll see who got the dumbest stuff.
There's more...but I don't want to give too much away.
