The PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 ALL suck because they all cost more than two hundred bucks.

What? I have no money.

Everything sucks when we can't have it :P

But even if I was a billionare, I probably wouldn't buy one till it was useful to have one (ie, a game worth playing is released).

You DO know about Zelda, right?

Yea, and frankly I don't care (no offence). I played ocarina of time and a link to the past, and I'm good, beyong good. Horror/survival horror games have sucked royally of late, and nothing exciting has been announced for anything next gen...I think even ObsCure 2 is on the ps2/Xbox.

And the psp library...eh. Still, nothing really interesting, except maybe Death Jr I and II is supposed to be good, but I can't find the first one so I refuse to buy the second until then. ShE was ok, but it was a umd not a game...

MGS:PO is pretty fun, but I'm sure God of War and GT4:Mobile will revolutionize the system.

Ah. Console wars. I own both a DS and a PSP but only enough pocket space to carry one at a time. I confess, I'm a bit of a DS fanboy due to the Pokemans, but no matter which system I take, I get bashed when I pull it out in a place where others are playing.

As for next gen, I only own a Wii, but I've never played anything that anyone else considers interesting on the other systems, so I can't speak much on the matter.

Yeah, whats the deal with that? I remember the good old days with resident evil 2 and silent hill 1 would scare the b-jesus out of me. Me twisting the controller around cursing in fear as I run helpless from zombies or demon babies. I turn too fast and my flashlight beam catches something, I turn back and theres nothing f-ing there!

What the hell happened? They're just boring now. You'd think the survival horror genre is one that would specifically benifit from next-gen tech.

Eh, it depends on person to person. Resident Evil used to scare the crap out of me when I first played them nine years ago, but now the only thing that might make me even twitch is trying to remember how I used to turn around and cap hunters quickly enough as not to get hurt. XD Resident Evil was all about "Shock Factor" and Silent Hill was creepy for a number of reasons... mainly the air-raid siren..and the fact that with PS1 graphics everything was that much more "mysterious". It's going to be difficult for anyone to com e up with something originally scary, but it can only be a matter of time before someone does. In the meantime its nostalgia city i guess.
