They have spoiled project wonderful.
It now advertises by region, so unless you are American, all of the ads are invisible.

If you are not American and want ot advertise on Harkovast, now is a good time as there is loads of empty ad space.

Agreed. Totally annoying. The thing that really pisses me off is I can't turn the regions thing off --- or if it's possible it's not too obvious.

It seems like all my bids can now only be for one region only at a time. So my bid on Harkovast, for example, is now only for American audiences. I have to place three more bids to get the same regional coverage I had before. Is that right?

It sounds good for us as publishers, but as advertisers it seems we'll pay about three times as much for the same coverage we had before. And since I spend way more than I take in, this seems really bad. If I understand things correctly.


Edit: I was wrong. You can make multi-regional bids, it just seems the older bids are now locked for single regions only. So I'll have to redo all my bids, it looks like. Still annoying.

Edit Edit: I made a new multi-regional bid for $1 on a site. It looks like Project Blunderful turned it into a $ 4 bid (One buck for each region). Maybe I'm not understanding this correctly, but it looks like things got a lot more expensive.

I know, it sucks so much. Us non-Americans can't see the major ads on our site without having to check Project Wonderful--which drives me crazy--and I've got empty buttons. In theory it would make me more money if people actually wanted to pay more money for my different regions but as a small comic creator, now my ads with their signifigantly lower views being spread out, are worth way less.

So pissed.

The only good thing is that now some really decent traffic sites have next to free advertising for various regions and some of those regions get decent traffic. ^_^''

I've decided now I'm going to boycott American advertising slots and just advertise to Canada and Europe for the time. Mostly free. And I am Canadian, soooo ah well. Maybe it'll help. I dunno. I don't like it. D:

I looked at that. The new stuff does really kill the simplicity that I liked about PW.
