I get this message when I try to run DrunkDuck Alerter, and it won't let me use it.
I'm not sure as to why this is and I was wondering if anyone could help me out please?

Your message box style indicates that you're running Windows 7. The DD Alerter was originally designed for running on Windows XP :(

Having the same problem it says

unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click
Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.
If you click quite, the application will close immediately,

Root element is missing

button/ details / button/ continue/ button/ Quit/

i tried redownloading and all but it still doesnt work.

Admins help?

Have you tried following the instructions on the page that Oz linked to in his reply? It's more than just trying to reinstall it.

Then you will have to go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com , search for .net framework and make sure you download and install it.


I'm not sure which version is best, but probably the latest one will be, which is version 5 I think,
