I have a general question:

My comic's next two pages are drawn as a double-page spread. I can easily chop it in half and post it as two images if necessary, without confusion in this case (though this may not be the case in future chapters!). My usual dimensions for a single page are 900 px wide, so there will definitely be some scrolling if I don't chop it. What is the preference for these on this site, if any?

It's entirely up to you. Some people post three pages, smaller but complete then the two halves.

For me it's about how the pages works, if sideways scrolling fits then do it.

I'd post the whole image but make it still 900 px wide.

Put a link in your author notes to go to an OPTIONAL full size page.

If possible increase the text on the smaller one so hopefully readers can read it without having to click.

I know from experience that some readers will NOT like such a huge image. My normal pages were 900 px too and my double page spread was huge and I got complaints.

Thanks! I may just do the two halves separately, at least in this case. I understand that you can delete a page, but you can't go back and put one in between two older pages, correct? So at least that way I can change my mind and make it one if I need to - though a link to the full one in the comments would also help, so I think I'll do both.

You can move around pages, if that's what you're asking. That's what those up/down arrows are for, on the page listing in your control panel. The annoying bit is that you can only do one page at a time (not sure what it will be like on the new site though) so moving a page from 400 to the prologue would be super annoying.

Yeah "SUPER" annoying. Have done it myself recently, well from 200 odd to 20 odd but still annoying.

Anyway, back on topic: I recently posted a double page spread that was a bit wider than my usual pages, and my problem is, it's not centered. Basically, it starts at the left boundary and exceeds the right one (see here ). How can I fix that?

That'll be down to the html coding. Is it worth fixing with the changeover looming?
