I need to get my ass off the floor and start coming up with new ideas and all that jazz for the awards. That or promote this forum some more. The awards need to start.

Nice award FAL. It looks fantastic and a tad cute.

Why bother? How long has this Forum topic been up and how many awards have actually been given out?

I highly doubt this will ever get off the ground. It was a good idea when it started...

Now I'm a very pessimistic person but even I believe that this will get off the ground. Within the next 2 months everything should be set for voting.

here's a proposed schedule
5/1/07- 6/30/07
Polling: users will suggest a comic for each category

7/15/07- 8/19/07
Voting: users will vote from the top 5 comics in each category

9/8/07
Announce the winners!

I'm just try to avoid disappointment here, sub. Word of the wise is never estimate a due date of something when you think it's gonna happen, do it when you know it's gonna happen, otherwise it's broken promises one by one.

i'm not doing the awards for me, but for the community.
i don't get much out of it, but people like winning awards, so i try to push getting it setup.

besides having dates sets goals. that's the first thing you do if you want anything done.
