It's funny when you see pics of real African militia fighters in battles and they're pretty much the same as that, except more colourful and silly.
...Still, I wouldn't want to be around those guys.

It looks like a plastic Ken doll. It's bad enough the femme celebs wear so much makeup in publicity shoots they look like aliens, but when a guy does it it looks even worse. -_-"

Does anybody remember Max Headroom? He was a guy with a mask and makeup made to look like a 3D computer character. This guy looks like him and he's not pretending to be a 3D CGI character.

actually, each state does have it's own military. ironically labeled "the National Guard" They can supplement the Active duty military, but are State funded, and Governer controlled. :) the more you know!

You beat me to it. In addition, every able bodied person 18 to 65 is automatically drafted into the state's unofficial guard, which is known as a militia.

Also, America isn't a Democracy, it's a Republic. Ozone is just being silly, I'll give him that.

That sort of thing doesn't count. Sate militias are irrelevant in military terms. Even during war time. The only reason they exist is to make people feel better.
