TITLE: Chapter 1. Thieves in the night.
FIGURE (OP): So, let’s start at the beginning.
JOHN (OP): Beginning? Sure why not? We both know how it ends, a long relationship with a very straight jacket.
Panel 2. This panel is looking down a dark hallway lined with locked doors. The doors have small circular windows at eye level. Florescent lights are off and only illumination comes from exit sign at far end of hall. Doors have a name tag underneath window.
FIGURE (OP): “We can’t start like this. I’m here to help; I can help you get out of here.â€Â
JOHN (OP): Oh really? And just what the fuck are you gonna do? Walk up to the guards and say “Hey guys listen, me and John been talking and we decided that even though there are 13 dead bodies, we don’t know his real name, he’s certifiable insane and oh yeah we found more drugs in him than a Columbian drug mule pulling a double shift were gonna let him go. Yeah, no, I mean, it’ll be great…
Panel 3. This panel looks into the one of the rooms in the hall through the small window in the door. Under the door the name tag reads “John Doeâ€Â. In the room John is looking outside into the hall, his head covering most of the windows view. He has a sarcastic look on his face.
FIGURE (OP): Do you think you belong here? Do you think you’re “certifiably insane

John: What do want to know?
Figure (OP) Everything…
John: Fine. But let me start by saying this…
Possessed, Part 1 Juan S. Burgos Page 7
PAGE SEVEN (Four panels)
Panel 1. This Panel shows John on the roof top of a large sky scraper (approximately 120 stories high), he is wearing a high tech suit with mask, all in black (his suit has various pockets for gadgets and tools). He has a pair of digital binoculars to his eyes, looking down to the roof of another building much smaller than the one he is on. The sky is filled with clouds (no rain), but high winds.
JOHN CAP: “Hollywood is full of shit. In the movies thieves are always these suave, debonair, know it all, answer for everything pricks. And in my 10 years of being a professional thief I’ve met more thieves that look like George Costanza than George Clooney. Plus you never see them freezing their asses off 120 stories up on the windiest day of the year.â€Â
Panel 2. This panel shows what John sees’ through his binoculars. Digital readings measure the distance between him and the other rooftop. Digital message at bottom of binoculars read “System cycle in 3 minâ€Â
JOHN CAP: “And fine, I admit I must have been a little crazy to do what I was about to do.â€Â
Panel 3. In this panel John has leapt of the rooftop arm extended to either side
JOHN CAP: “But priceless diamonds aren’t going to steal themselves.â€Â
Panel 4. In this panel John is free falling towards his destination. He has opened flaps on his suit to help him stabilize his descent.
JOHN CAP: “Plus I get to play with really cool toys.â€Â
Possessed, Part 1 Juan S. Burgos Page 8
PAGE EIGHT (Five Panels)
Panel 1. In this panel instead of a parachute opening out of Johns back a rocket is shot out attached to a rope that is hooked up to Johns’ harness. The rocket fires straight up pulling John up, and slowing his descent.
JOHN CAP: “Like this Soviet made Gen II Covert Ops parachute. A built in altimeter fires a mini-rocket at the precise time.â€Â
Panel 2. In this panel the rocket has stopped John’s descent 3 feet from the roof top.
JOHN CAP: “And about 6 seconds and 6000 Gs later.â€Â
Panel 3. In this panel John unhooks his harness from the rocket and lands safely on the rooftop in a crouched position. The rocket continues to fly up into the night sky and is lost in the clouds.
JOHN CAP: “What did I tell you? I shouldn’t be allowed to buy these things. Wish I could’ve tested it before hand though.â€Â
John: Oh man, I think I shit my pants.
Panel 4. In this panel John leaps over the railing on the edge of the roof apparently jumping of the roof.
JOHN CAP: “You’re probably wondering why? Why do it? There have to be easier scores; there have to be easier jobs. Or you could be wondering what Episode of House is on tonight, I don’t know. I do know that I was on that rooftop for one reason, and one reason alone. I was there because of the Guild.â€Â
Panel 5. John is hanging on the side of the building using a ledge as a foot hold as he examines a glass window.
JOHN CAP: “Let me tell you, there’s nothing like hearing your pulse beat in your ears in fear as the shadows devour all other sound in the night.â€Â
John (whisper): Spiderman, Spiderman, does whatever a spider can…
Possessed, Part 1 Juan S. Burgos Page 9
PAGE NINE (Four Panels)
Panel 1. In this panel John has pulled a clear cylinder from his back pack. The cylinder has a clear Jelly like substance in it; he unscrews the lid and smears the clear substance the outside of the glass window.
FIGURE CAP: “So you’re a…â€Â
JOHN CAP: “You can say it, I’m not ashamed. I’m a highly trained, well paid… window cleaner.â€Â
FIGURE CAP: “…â€Â
Panel 2. In this panel John has placed a small battery pack in the middle of the clear jelly. He is still outside the window; he places the pack on the window and turns it on.
JOHN CAP: “The job was nothing special, steal a 50 karat diamond from a building with more security and armed personnel than the presidents bath tub, right? Normal. Saturday. night.â€Â
Panel 3. Here we see the battery pack has activated the chemical agent on the window and it has begun to eat through the security glass. Soon the hole is large enough for John to climb through.
FIGURE CAP: “I don’t care what you do, I need to knowâ€â€Ã¢â‚¬Å“
Panel 4. In this panel John has entered the building through the hole, and has stepped into a corporate office with all the usual; furnishings. He stands up straight from a crouched position, arms crossed in front of his chest, head cocked to one side.
John (WHISPERS): Hey!! Who’s narrating this flash back me or you?
Panel 5: John has returned to his crouched position and continues to make his way through the building
JOHN CAP: “Good now shut the hell up and listen, I’m getting there.â€Â
Possessed, Part 1 Juan S. Burgos Page 10

Panel 2. this panel is an extreme close up of johns mask. In this panel John face is half hidden behind a pillar, in the reflection of his eye piece we can see the diamond sitting in a stylish case with a round base and matching glass casing.
JOHN CAP: “Deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole I ventured…â€Â
Panel 3. In this panel we are seeing John from the opposite direction as from the prev panel. We are now seeing him from behind, he is crouching behind the pillar with the diamond in the background.
JOHN CAP: “until there it was.â€Â
