Okay so here's the deal, I'm doing a experimental erotic web comic called Akachi and Other Erotic Stories that will be out soon.

But as I did a storyboard for a first issue, I came to wondering as to how much Drunkduck actually allows porno?

Okay, lolicon I understand is banned, but what about other porno fetishes that is weird like bestiality, bondage, scat and so on?

If anyone can give me a list of yes and noes on what I can or can not draw for drunkducks adult section, let me know ;)

Well, stuff like bondage or whatever is a fetish, but bestiality? I dunno about that one. It would depend on how it's treated. I'd be pretty uncomfortable with a graphic depiction of bestiality, necrophilia or whatever on DD if I knew about it.

Um, just for the record, there's no lolicon or anything else of that nature in my comic. While it does get a bit "out there" at times, everything that takes place is part of the narrative and is done with a tongue-in-cheek humor about it. I do go out of my way to promote my comic as being the most depraved sludgefest on Earth, but it really isn't. It's more Grand Guignol than true splatter porn.

With regards to the subject of the thread, that's something best answered by an admin (as it apparently has been), so... yeah.

Death Porn is definitely not a comic I will ever follow though. No offence to El Cid as a person, but that goes way beyond the bounds of what I'm prepared to read.

I'm not going to get into regulating content or deciding what is and is not allowed under an A rating though, that'd be making too much work and it'd annoy and patronise people. And I don't enforce ratings based on my personal taste either.

Just use your own judgement and stay well away from anything involving Children- or things representing children i.e. in a furry comic kittens and puppies might be "children".

Just in case I wasn't being clear, any reservation I might have about potential content is more to do with DD's terms of service than my own personal tastes. Underage stuff is out because it's illegal, and while images of things like bestiality or whatever might not be illegal, they have a greater potential to be "offensive" (depending on how they're treated) than simpler fetishes.

I wouldn't bat an eye at a comic which humorously deals with any of that stuff, or uses it but in a contextual or non- or semi-graphic way. But a comic which, I dunno, glorifies or promotes (in a serious way) animal abuse or having sex with dead bodies would be something else and would need some consideration, since it might be seen as condoning an illegal activity. (Funny how that would seem questionable, but comics about drugs and stuff aren't...)

Morning Squirtz is a good example of a comic which does a lot of 'offensive' things but is all perfectly acceptable as far as this discussion is concerned.

Here's the terms of service bit:

That is basically there to let DD remove content which is, I dunno, "here's explicit instructions on how to build a bomb" or whatever. But the very few times it's ever come up in practice is one or two times when Oz or I have found a comic with questionably-aged sexual images.

I've seen several examples of under 18s in graphic sexual situations on here.

Well, they probably shouldn't be. No one generally reports that kind of thing to us though. We can't magically find this stuff (especially if you are like me and have no interest in adult comics).

I'm not bothered with adult comics. Two of mine are rated A but that's more to do with upcoming violence and nudity than graphic sex. Story and artistic integrity first for any that I fave.

Admittedly I'm considering removing a few since they dropped the ball... Or four... Into panel shot... One too many times in a row... With only one separate location in between...

As for the comics with the underage stuff, I could probably track them down and report them if they're still there. Most likely the large numbers of fans they had have diminished and wouldn't notice since it's been years since they updated.

Afterwards I will engage in harakiri with a spork.

The truth is probably a lot more boring- I can't think of an adult comic that was ever banned for content (might have been one with a page featuring under-age girls in though...?). Generally if an "A" rated comic was frozen by us then it was probably because it had material stolen from another artist or it was being used to attack another artist here, or they were just a real dick and their comics got frozen when they were banned.

Shame- it's more titillating to imagine that there were just some really crazy comics out there. I had a roomie once that wanted me to do a graphic novel rendition of 120 Days of Sodom, and I was like "sure- I'll draw any scenes that don't involve pedophilia or rape." Needless to say, that woulda been a really, really, really abridged version of the book...

I'll have to draw something crazy someday. It'll be more fetish than porn oriented though, heh.

Wow, I did read Death Porn and whiel I don't plan my erotic comics the same deal but I do have to give the guy a point for the effort.
Compared to all other porn comics I have read on DD and other sites, my upcoming is actully pretty tame. But maybe tame and soft is what we need at this moment.

I haven't seen the pages of Mob Ties that they're talking about, but I'd be inclined to ignore their concerns. Hark is a fine, vocal, fun, member of the DD community who loves to participate and help out around the place, but his views on aspects of sexuality often seem a little narrow to me.
It seems as if they're talking about a fully dressed comic character who they find a little to be a little too "sexualised" in the way she dresses and poses, for her stated age.
But given community standards in ordinary children's TV shows like Pokemon for example, there is quite a grey area here.

If there was nudity though, that'd be another matter.
