Using the DD system so that there will be less chance of cheating because people will be voting with their acct.

the admins will check the IP adress to see if someone is using multiple accts or proxies.

people will go from page to page writing in comics they want to be considered in each category.

the mods and admins will divide up the pages for counting. at least 2 mods/admins to each page to decrease mistakes.

one vote per user. multiple accts would void any of thier votes and possibly have a deciple action by the mods/admins


rules for voting and polling
-you can't vote/poll your own comic (cause everyone will do this and we'll have a lot of comics with just one vote/poll). doing this would nullify your vote and possibly have a deciple action by the mods/admins


after counting the top 5 comics of each category, we will have users vote using the 1-5 pulldown numbers. the mods/admins will count for the winner

possibly have a presentation created by users for the winner like how the other webcomics awards are done.

i'm working on the page right now. some of the images are image holders (i.e bg and nav)
i've disabled comments until the mods/admins count them in the end.
i've disabled commenting until the site is launched.

I'm saddened there is no Political catagory...

With the 1-5 pulldown rating system, would it be possible to include somthing like having people put "VOTE" in the body of their comment to make sure they read it and eliminate people just 5ing the comic without reading it to try and get people to read their own?

The site looks good but the borders around the tables detract a bit from the site.

uh, I know it's highly unlikely that anyone else votes from the same computer as me, but my laptop's internet doesn't work so I use my school library's computer lab... but, like, we've got a whole lot of students using the same computers...
so?
should I vote/no?

voting will be counted on accounts, not IPs
but we will be able to tell if a person is using multiple accounts to skew the voting (prolly the same IP with the same voted/poll comics)

I can't seem to find how to vote for penis. I'm sure other people, who would definitly have voted for penis if they could figure out how would have. These damn punchout ballets are out dated and terrible.

how about a best under 20 page comic award, as best rookie (first year) comic/strip award.
