I am out ready to make a new comic. I have tons of ideas in mind but no idea which one is the best. Friends always tell me they all sound good but no one really tells me for sure....so I am bringing it to the members of Drunk Duck to help me decide by a poll. I have put in my mind that at a certain number of votes I will do that comic. I don't want to say how many but I will let you know when it is time. Here are the three comics I have in mind:

1. An American Superhero comic with of course heroes and villains but using a main character who hasn't yet determined his side or course of action. This is his whole story....no superhero just HAS powers....

2. An adventure story based in the middle ages using a base story on the 7 Deadly Sins. An ordinary person dies to become the ArchAngel of God. The only problem is....The Devil gets angry and the 7 Deadly Sins are released on the world and this person must stand tall, not knowing his powers, and fight the evil of the Devil for God and all of mankind.

3. A twisted Pokemon-esque comic. I know a lot of little kids that would love this and always look at my pictures of my own creations and tell me I should do it. Of course it's an adventure but the creations are all mine, they will not be under anything Pokemon, and the way they are used, caught, and raised will be different. No, no Gyms either.

I have no idea what a 7 Deadly Sins comic is and there are already WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many Pokemon comics on DD, so I'll vote superhero comic.

The sins is the most unique to me. So I go with that.

And for those of you who don't like the "Pokemon" idea....just remember it won't be made after Pokemon and this will NOT be a sprite comic. No I at least try with my art. I am going to be going to an art school for college...I am 17 and I am going to be graduating this year. I don't feel like doing sprite comics...so no need to fear!

7 deadly sins looks like the best option on the list to me. :)

I'm bored to death of superheros, yawn, it's always the same stuff. Nothing really new there.

I voted for the 7 deadly sins, for shits and giggles, plus I like dark stories the best.

But, I'd also like to see some well done Pokemon type stories, one more like Digimon, where the monsters have personalities and do more then fight eachother.

So far everyone has been a big help. Not quite to my point yet where I will start creating a comic but I am hearing what you are all saying. I appreciate this feedback because remember, you determine the fate of this comic. I promise no matter how much hype I put behind myself, or my comic, I am telling you if you vote, I will not fail you and thank you for coming here and voicing your opinions. Monsters with personalities sure would add a good feel to a comic rather than it saying it's name in an annoying voice over and over to try to tell someone something. I've always kind of liked the idea of the Missingno pokemon virus in the first games being a real thing and making the world change into something weird. Or like, because of it weird things start to happen in the pokemon universe.

I dunno how that would work as a comic though.

I would like to see the actual standardised pokemon universe given an adult and gritty twist to it, I can't help but think that being blasted with flames would do some minor damage, pokemon+risk of death would be good.

We want it with honest to god pokemon though, I want to see a pikachu get its innards ripped out by a nidoking, and when a fire blast hits a oddish there should be a charred mass of plant matter left twitching slightly in a heap and it's trainer should burst into tears crying and never be quite the same. And when that geodude self destructs it ain't comin' back next round.

Is that what everyone wants? Pokemon, the actual Pokemon that you know, destroyed to pieces in battles? Pokemon die and don't come back? No Poke Centers can save them? Would everyone rather see it as Pokemon or my new creations? Either is fine for me, I just don't want people to rip me to shreds with horrible comments because I used the REAL Pokemon. If you want I can add my own creations into the Pokemon world and mix them. Keep the responses coming!

Sounds like a good idea. I actually like that. Everyone is giving great ideas. If anyone thinks that sounds good let me know. Want to tweak it? Try it! So far this has been a good thing for me and it is giving me great ideas for chapters. I feel like I have to make that one at least for one chapter of the story. It's awesome!

Well I guess mostly everyone is behind an adult Pokemon story. Only question now is should I use my characters, Pokemone characters, or a mixture of both? All I can tell you is Ash's Pikachu (if you choose me to use the real Pokemon) won't be around forever.... :)

I was thinking something about how Giovanni enters into pokemon training as someone who thinks it's all it's cracked up to be and nothing ever goes wrong. Then maybe he runs into a couple of teams trying to take over the reigon of Kanto. He goes up against them, and after a while ends up defeating the boss of said Team. However after that he decides the only way to keep it so that no other teams will come to power will be through forming a team of his own out of the ones he defeated. In doing that, over time things start going wrong. His administrators in said team start allowing crimes to take place, for the reason of "keeping order". Pretty soon Giovanni himself becomes obsessed with forming an ultimate pokemon to reign over all others.

Eventually the realization of what he's done will crash down around him, but he doesn't realize it yet.

Damn, this sounds like a bad fan-fic.

Anyway, do with this what you will. It would take some writing skill to make it all believable however.

Nice idea. A story, that can be made adult, from a different perspective other than that of an aspiring trainer like Ash. Sounds like a good idea. Maybe I will tweak it a bit and create my own story from it. Even though the poll didn't get to the point I wanted it to, I think it is pretty clear that everyone wants to see an adult Pokemon story with a purpose. I feel a little humor will add a nice touch as well. Man, do I feel like a kid again drawing Pokemon. Its okay thought because there will be blood.....

An adult oriented Pokemon story which goes back in time and explains the current situations of certain Pokemon characters and why they are where they are. An adventure comic of sorts with Pokemon. No longer will Fire Blast take HP but it may take a Pokemon's life! Please keep the feedback coming!
