Are there any Brittish Duckers here? Because I'm not sure how paranoid Brittain is about the whole "Al Qaeda" thing compared to America. I kinda doubt it's the common reason for abuse of power.


Anyway, this whole thing strikes me as the work of some hot-shot on the force who wants to get a name for themselves by catching a drug ring. Reading more of the article I can see that his workshop was suspicious, but some kind of evidence should be necessary for this kind of thing.

in america you wouldnt hear about this, cause the government would pay triple upon finding a mistake, to keep it quiet.

this happens in the US ll the time, actually. mostly they make a big deal to sould like they had good reason to expect something criminal and blame it on a one-time snafu so the the news doesn't get interested. that or arrest they guy anyways and release him later due to 'lack of evidence'.....

there's a marked lack of training in the field of 'do we really need to do this?' with US police forces. plus a lot of 'em are kinda dumb.....
