This is all I know. There was a guy on DD who did a sprite comic that was pretty decent. On the 9th he was run over by a drunk driver. He lost a foot and was beatin up pretty bad.
All the spriters in the DD community are making him get well cards and so on and sending them to the person who made this comic below.

the suck thing is it never seems to be the drunk drivers who get seriously injured or die, if they did that would at least be some sort of justice, but yes, get well.

This whole thing is tearing me apart...
In October of 2003, I was hit by three different cars all in the same month, and all I got was a deep gash in my leg from the 3rd car....

I feel terrible about this, especially as I rapidly approach my driver's license exam. Who knows what sort of dangerous people are out on the road today? On the one hand, being able to drive a car is a symbol of my personal freedom, but on the other hand, it's also an easy way to land myself in the hospital or the grave after someone I don't even know does something very stupid.
Vaati, may you have a speedy and painless recovery. Our thoughts, hopes, and prayers are with you. That may sound cheesy, but they really are.

I went to a funeral for one of the nicest guys I ever knew in April... killed by a drunk driver. He was 29. The driver not only escaped with minor injuries; he may only be spending 10 years in prison for what he did.
Drunk driving accidents are preventable, I hope everyone here has the sense not to make the mistake of getting behind the wheel after a night of drinking.
