Gday,
After a lifetime of reading comics and drawing cartoons, technology has finally allowed me to create my own comic adventure with a subtle message. The Adventures of Min n Fin is a story about two Quelves, Min and Fin, who travel the multiverse looking for fun and adventure.
The fun becomes deadly serious when they run afoul of the Snamuh, the greediest, meaniest, most nastiest, money-hungriest creature in the universe.
The Snamuh wander space in their moon-size factory ship, the USS Coorporate Raider.
When they discover a forested planet the 'Consumer' fleet is sent out to strip every tree and resource. Even animal life forms are collected to be turned into sausages, the mass-produced staple food of the Snamuh.
Unwittingly Min and Fin happen upon the Snamuh strip-clearing a lonely planet. Unknown to them the Snamuh are there for another reason, to steal a mysterious 'device' that will enable them to travel at the Speed of Thought!
In other words they could get anywhere in the universe instantaneously.
When Min and Fin learn of this they realise they must try to 'rescue' the device to protect all life everywhere from the insatiable greed of these horrid beings.

The story is presented with lots of humour and has been in the pipeline for over five years. Now with some powerful compputer gear (a G5 Quad and Wacom Cintiq 21UX) I finally have the ability to pull it off and do it justice.
The comic is produced using a mixture of CGI (Carrara 5), hand-drawn art, and photographs.

The first few pages are a bit ordinary as I am still perfecting technique, but by about page 11 I feel I am getting it right.
Anyway, enough babbling. Please have a look. Any responses/criticism is appreciated.
You can also check out my blog where I talk about the various techniques I use at cartoonprofessor.blogspot.com or my website teaching cartoon art at cartoonartclub.com
I also am doing some shows. The first one is finished and viewable on youtube under Cartoon Art Show.

Thanks everyone.

I like it! Linart is strong and the colors are bright and vibrant. The only problem is the size of the page! It's to big. Other than that nice work and the detail on that ploane is awesome!

Yeah thanks, it was saved at the wrong size. I have corrected that problem now so the pages should all be at the same size.
I have also put my show on this site in the tutorials and on my personal page.
Thanks Polo.
