I recently downloaded some games for my MAME and Snes emulator.
I downloaded TMNT: The Arcade Game, TMNT: Turtles In Time and Simpsons: The Arcade Game.
It took me about an hour to an hour and a half to beat all three together. If I was to count how many continues I used. I would of probably spent like 20 bucks.
Games like this are so much fun.
I recently broke out Super Mario 3 on my nes too.
what games have you been playing that are old school?

Playasia recently got in a few copies of Saturn Bomberman. I've been searching for that game forever. Unfortunately, my Saturn just died. I did manage to find a copy of SSF, a Saturn emulator for the PC which not only allows me to play games right off the original discs, it also supports up to 12 controllers. So far the emulation is perfect for me, I just wich I had an adapter that let me hook up my original saturn controllers. Sure, the 360 wireless controllers are nice and all, but the button layout is different enough to make it hard to play some of my old games.

I'm still playing DOOM, Quake, and Super Mario Brothers. None of those have aged a bit since they were released thanks to the awesome gameplay.

I've got an old NES - the original three Super Mario-games, some odds and ends and Duck Hunt with the zapper and all. I haven't had it hooked up for a couple of months now - mostly because it screws with our TV - but it's such a blast to play it. Those marks in your palms from the controller? Pure nostalgia, I tell you.
I mean, I suck at Duck Hunt, but it's still awesome to play.

I'm going to have an old-school-arcade-going-on-weekend with my cousins this weekend. I know I will own them. Mainly because I'm half a decade older than them.
But...
- Marvel vs. Capcom
- Final Fight
- Captain Commando
- TMNT (OLD SKOOL!)
- XMen: Children of the Atom
- Street Fighter Alpha 1 & 3
- Marvel Super Heroes
- Xmen vs Street Fighter
are on the cards. Maybe more.

I've been playing TMNT: The Arcade game on XBLA along with Worms
I also bought Castlevania: SOTN, but I've barely had time to play.
I just hooked up the old NES to the TV too, and my little bro got me a copy of Maniac Mansion.

You can only beat Adventure so many times before it gets boring. Although I have been playing a version of Pong made for a neogeo emulator recently.

I just started playing Legend of Zelda for the Nes again. I went to Level 3 instead of 2 and died. I did the same damn thing when I was like little. I STILL FELL FOR IT HAHAHA. Funny how I forgot that

Loved playing the Super Mario games as a kid and still love them now. Some games just never get old.

I recently received a replacement Playstation 2 contie, so I've been catching up with some of my newer faves.
While it was on the fritz though, much more time was spent on such titles as, Future Cop: LAPD and KKND: Crossfire for the Playstation 1. Alongside perma-classics like, the Strike series (the isometric helicopter shooters that we must never forget!) and, the omni awesome, Rock and Roll Racing on the Sega Megadrive.
