Photoshop Troubles

I've had this weird thing start happen in the last week or so. I can color my pages and save them as a PSD file. I can also save them as a JPG. But a newly saved JPG file cannot be retrieved. It claims the JPEG vectors are missing. I can open older JPG's, but the ones I've made in the last week or so wont open. Any ideas?

I'll toss this out as a remote possibility, though I use a different application. Are you flattening your photoshop files before exporting them as jpegs? In my application, if work isn't flattened before turning them into jpegs then all sorts of vital data is lost.
Anyway, it was just a thought.

Photoshop usually auto-flattens. Try another file type like PNG (It's lossless so there's less distortion) and see if it still occurs.
That's "Dr. BlkKnight" to all of you.

When you are saving do you "save for web?" If you go "save as" and try to save it JPEG, I've noticed that there are problems. I've never had an issue with "Save for Web"
Once the second screen comes up, click on "OPTIMIZED" which will create a JPEG that is compatible with most screen resolutions.
Sometimes my CS program reverts (and I lose everything from preset brushes to my entire meticulously made pallette). It may be that something like that happened and it is trying to save it as too large a file.
Try that and let me know if it works. At least you still have the PSD files to fall back on.

If I try to "save as" a jpeg my file inverts to black.
I do what Darwin does, "save for web" always works for me.
