It'll just take some getting used to. Personally I'm doing my best to look on the bright side.
For example!
Originally I was worried I would have class on monday, tuesday, wednesday and thursday (which I do) and this would force me to work on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Meaning, I would get no days to myself to just sit around and do nothing
However!
Having a 7-8:15am class means that I can talk to my manager and try to work on tuesdays and thursdays seeing as how the comic store opens at 9, and I'd already be awake anyway.
So now if I work a three day schedule, tuesday, thursday and friday, saturday or sunday, I would get at least two days a week to just relax, draw comics, and do homework stuff.
I guess it's not all bad, everything has a plus side...well...most things. Not beets, I don't like beets.
I'm still doing comic work, but at least the series is almost over. Things will be a little less hectic once I'm done with the series.

Glad to know you're taking it in a positive way. I'm more of a negative person myself. And I don't think death is that bad, it means you don't have to suffer stuff anymore.
Man I'm sooo gonna be really sad when this series end. It's almost a year since it started and checking this comic is the first thing I do when I go on the net. It's has become a habit of mine.

Ok everyone, as you know I've started school. This means that school mixed with work, I haven't been drawing much, still trying to get into the swing of things.
I just wanted to let you all know that I just finished comic number 450.
It's a comic around the middle of the January 1st events, given my notes of what comics I need to draw, I should have every January 31st comic finished on time as long as I draw like two or three a week, which shouldn't be too hard once I start having days off.
So...yeah, working.
Thanks for your continued support through these semi-stressful times. I know you're all bummed the series is ending soon, but personally, I'm a little glad it's coming to a close. I dunno if I'd be able to keep up if it kept going.

Now now, I didn't say that.
The Answer doesn't happen until the end of March. Meaning that once I finish January 31st, I've got quite a bit of time to work.
I just need to get into the swing of things and we'll see how it turns out.
Additional: GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!
I just got an e-mail saying that my class for tomorrow has been cancelled. This means that I have tomorrow and friday off. Saturday and Sunday I have work (although sadly I'm no longer able to draw comics at work)
And then I have monday off.
Meaning...More time to draw comics. High fives all around

*High five!*
And I'm pretty confidence about the answer, I mean the story line is just like, 5 hours in 60 hours you spend playing it, so I'm sure you will finish it on time. Although play it again is a lot of pain, do you plan on using vids from youtube Strain?

More than likely, yes.
I've beaten the Answer once, I'm not gonna do it again just for 20-30 comics worth of story.
Hooray for Youtube!
Anyway, I've got a few comics done today, I'm feeling really accomplished right now ^^

Ok folks, I wanna talk about something today that just sorta irked me. It's a minor complaint, but one I want to address as someone who considers himself a somewhat important member in the MegaTen society. (I'm delusional, leave me alone)
I've been on Youtube the past two days watching the ending of Persona 3 so I can work on my comics and get them finished up.
On the related videos tab, I saw "Persona 3 AMV - In The End"
WHY!?
Every other horrible anime and JRPG game on earth has had it's moment with that god-awful song (i'm not a Linkin Park fan if you can't tell) why did Persona 3 have to fall under it's boot?
It's bad enough that people are ruining good songs like Bullet with Butterfly Wings by Smashing Pumpkins by teaming them up with stuff like DeathNote but why put a good game up with a bad song?
I know I don't really have room to talk, some people think my comic is the biggest middle finger to the game anyone could possibly give. But even if that were the case, I work hard on it. I didn't spend 45 minutes putting cutscene clips over a song in windows movie maker.
Sorry folks, I like to complain.
If you want some good news, I've drawn 6 comics in the past 2 days, and I don't plan to stop yet. It's not even 1 yet, so I actually might be able to finish off January 31st today (so I can get started on all the March stuff)

I would assume that it's because P3 is a JRPG with anime cutscenes. Double whammy.
Also, considering the whole "Memento mori" thing, In the End actually fits for once. I know, it's weird.

I'm still going to be angry though and mumble all the various curse words I know while I draw comics
ADDITIONAL: GREAT NEWS EVERYONE!!!
After a bit of tinkering, I was able to work some magic over with my laptop. It now has Windows Vista version of MS Paint
which means...
Yes.
I can now draw comics on my laptop as well. No matter where I am or what I'm doing, as long as I have my laptop, I can draw comics.
Happy Day

Everyone, I have an announcement to make.
I am officially finished with January 31st.
There will be exactly 20 comics, no more, no less.
Shortly afterwards there will be a long period of no comics at all (aka February) however, I have plans to help keep people entertained throughout the month of nothingness.
You, the viewers, will get to help me shape Persona 4TW, I'll be asking for input on ideas, social link suggestions, it'll just be one big discussion.
Also, as far as The Answer goes, let me explain my plan for updating it.
Truth be told, it all depends on how many comics I end up making for it. If we started on the 7th, that makes it so there are 25 days between it and the end of the month.
If by some incredibly lucky break it turns out to be exactly 25 (well...25 not counting the couple that will take place on April 1st) comics, I'll simply do one a day.
If there is say 28 comics, I'll do something like one a day and 2 on saturdays, if there is 22, maybe I won't update on mondays or something.
So basically it all depends on how many comics it turns out to be.
If I can't find any convenient pattern for it, then I'll just upload them all on the 31st of March, like in the game.
Take care everybody, leave more feedback, this place always feels so abandoned lol

You don't have to stress over this. It's not like we expect you to do The Answer, as much as we want to see it. And if you do, it doesn't have to be exact with the game's schedule.

Now that I'm done with January 31st, I can relax some. If I draw one comic a day I'd probably be done with it all.
It'll all be taken care of. I'm not saying it'll be perfect, in fact a lot of stuff in The Answer won't even be in the comic, but it will be done and it'll be fun.
More info to come later.

Ok fans, I need your help with an upcoming decision. Now there MIGHT be mild spoilers in this, I'll try to keep it clean.
As many of you may or may not know, the final days of the game are March 3rd, 4th and 5th. On march 3rd and 4th you can walk around the school and city and get a special little scene with every social link you've maxed out, as well as your party members.
My plan for uploads on these days are just to seperate the comics involving the party members and the comics involving every other social link.
The question I present is this. Which do you guys think would be better? To do the party members first, or the other social links.
On one hand, doing the party members first makes them seem more important, but on the other hand doing them secondly makes it have more buildup towards the end.
So yeah...Opinions?

So if they don't, I'm sorry. I truely am.

I third build-up.
By the way, I have a crack theory: You are actually a woman!
Like how J.K. Rowling's editor feared that HP books won't sell as well if the boys know that the author is a girl, but Joanne doesn't have middle name, so she incorporated her grandma's name, Kathleen.
So, I deducted that your real name is Josephine Scott, and you use your grandma's name (Catherine) as middle name to get the initial J.C. Scott! Am I right, or am I right?

Wrong, my name is John Calvin Scott. I only chose J.C. as my writer name because I have a lot of friends who call me John and a lot who call me Calvin, so this way no one can be confused by my name :P

Yes, John Calvin did invent Calvinism, however in my case it's merely a coincidence. I was named after my grandfathers on both sides of the family.

So maybe this comment means nothing to you, probably shouldn't.
Something about the comic keeps me from
liking it...idk what. Maybe subject matter cause I don't get it, maybe the art style...i...I don't know.
Just putting my input, but I must say congrats on being a top 10. I do hope it keeps doing well.

Not a problem, I appreciate the feedback. I admit that the comic isn't for everyone. I didn't exactly plan to light the world on fire with my "art style" and the entire story really only makes sense to those who've played Persona 3.
So overall it is a pretty limited audience comic, I can't expect everybody to like it.
Thanks for stopping by though.

To those of you who noticed this post before the comic technically updated. Please wait...
To those who are here now because you saw the comic that updated, WELCOME!
Ok everyone, Like I said, I wanna start work on Persona 4TW as soon as I finish The Answer (which hopefully will be by the end of February)
Over the next couple weeks (February lol) I will be posting ideas I have for the series, stuff I wanna try.
I want your opinions, and I want your suggestions. Now this doesn't mean I'll listen to them, but I do want to hear them.
Please note everyone: The more thought out your post is, the more likely I am to consider it. If you just write stuff like "yeah, do that" or "Date Rise cuz she's hawt" I probably won't go with what you have to say (Rise IS pretty hawt though...) I'm not saying you have to write like super long paragraphs about every little thing, but at least show me you put some thought into what you wanna see.
Now then, I'll start this off and ask for some opinions on something I kinda wanna try but am undecided about.
Teddie...
I have this idea of using him as a character to break the 4th wall. Not in a talk to the audience type way or a give away spoilers of stuff that hasn't happened yet type way but...How can I describe this.
My first joke I kinda have planned for him is when he first meets the characters I was thinking of having him say something like "You guys are here? It's comic number XX already? Wow..."
Naturally no one else will know what he's talking about, but he'll say things like that.
So yeah...opinions?

Teddie as our resident 4th wall breaker... yeah, I can dig that. I mean, he already has those eyes of his, those beady little eyes that stare straight into your soul. As if to say "I see you when you're sleeping, I know when you're awake, Don't matter if you're bad or good, your life tonight I'll take..."
Yeah.
Yeah.

First, I just wanted to say it was great reading your comic P3FTW and re-living all those P3 moments through the way all of us were probably thinking when they happened.
As for P4FTW, I don't mind Teddie breaking the fourth wall. His character seems like one where it would be appropriate since he is 'mysterious' like that... Technically, the MC does talk, too. It's just that 99.9% of it simply persona names. But I would imagine none of the other characters ever hear him in the heat of battle :).
Also, I think you should include your original idea of necks and hands/fingers. It'd be like any sequel to a game. They always have some minor tweaks to the graphics. That'd be the same thing here, right?
