... Just came out today for the PSP. It's basically an RTS/rhythm/RPG where you guide your little Patapon by beating a drum in certain combinations to give them commands. There's a demo online if you'd like to check it out, and I definitely recommend it - especially for just $20.

I just told Shplane about this not too long ago.
It's a great game, has a nice style (both in gameplay and visuals). I downloaded the demo about a day ago and I instantly fell in love with it.
So I'll second your opinion and will recommend it as well.
