Hi, /um, my page is a 600 by 700 jpeg, but it pops up on the actual screen as if it's like 10 times that size. It shows the correct size in the edit screen and i hit the change and nothing happens to the size. Can anyone help?

it might be your dpi setting for the file. a jpg that's 600x700 and 400 dpi will show up on the web as mush larger than a jpg that's 600x700 and 72dpi. monitors are limited to 72dpi for the most part.

and where would one find the dpi settings in photoshop?

image menu -> image size. when the window appears it's the field called resolution.
