Hi Polo.

I don't paint so I can't really comment on your work.

What I want to mention is that a Drunkduck account may not be the best place for you to upload poster art and paintings. It's specifically for Webcomics. If you use it like DeviantArt you may be frowned upon.

Yes they're realated crazzyninny. The dragon symbol is from the Half/Breed comic and tattooed on her arm. Below that you have the Half/Breed a.k.a LadyDragon.

I'd say they're good technically, but the imagery and stylization are somewhat dated.

Ooh! I like them! I've tried painting, but I suck swamp water (My self portrait looks like the portrait of an evil dictator). I've decided that painting's not for me.

Still, I like how you don't mind being imprecise with your paint. That's my biggest problem, everything has to be perfect, but paint just doesn't work like that! That one with the blue girl sticking up is a perfect example. I like how you mix a realistic and a surrealistic style in some of your paintings. You are obviously quite fond of musicians and your use of strong reds on the bodies with the blues of the backgrounds and clothes really give them a passionate intensity I feel some strong, fast, moving jazz when I look at the trumpeter and one very long note when I see the singer. Out of all of them I'd say those two are my favorites.

Thanks you guys! Kohdok i use to be like that too... wanting to be perfect and everything in the painting had to be realistic to where you couldn't see a brush stroke!
I was trying be an artists i wasn't. I came up with my own style which is any style! What ever works works when your painting! I want to be free when i'm painting not stuck on painting in one particular style of painting!

I told you'll i was square!

the brush technique is good
the high level contrast makes it look very surreal
i'm no painter myself, but i grew up around it so i know a thing or two
