Believe it or not, this is not a 'plug' for my comic.

I seriously need opinions on whether or not to keep a page.

In another post, Knuckles actually motivated me to do something about something I have been considering for some time...

Page 14 and 15 are fairly similiar in that I have attempted to increase the pace with a similiar technique: One large splash panel with the characters moving through it.

My gut feeling is that I should delete page 14 completely because I think it actually slows the pace.

Cutting a whole page is never a decision to be taken lightly.

What do you think? Delete or keep?

Yes, I do think that there is a rather startling slow down of the pacing simply because one does not expect the same page layout technique two pages in a row, but is this necessarily a bad thing?

Although a bit startling in its effect it's not - in my opinion - unpleasantly startling.

When you created the page was there a specific reason at the time that motivated you to do this and, if so, did you accomplish that goal?

I recommend leaving well enough alone, but it boils down to what you are trying to accomplish in crafting this work and what you can or cannot live with in your art. As it stands I don't think that leaving the page as it is causes the work any harm.

My reasoning...
Well I was experimenting with my technique for building and drawing the scenes.
The UMV (Ultimate Multipurpose Vehicle) was my first 'serious' 3d build... mind you it evolved as it was built... I got this on about the 3rd or fourth 3D design/build and after about fifty pencil and inks.

I tend to experiment and learn throughout the whole process... as I am sure you all do...

These pages are a composite of Photographic scenery (obviously), 3D 'posing', and drawing/composing etc in photoshop.
Previous pages are mostly made up of entire 3D scenes, complete with planets, trees, etc.

While 3D work has been a tremendous learning curve and it takes a very long time sometimes to build and pose the scenes, I think in the end it is by far the most efficient use of time for the level of detail and colour I aim for. Still needs lots of work though... there are too many panels that lack correct contrast.

Sorry for rambling, at this stage I am leaning towards cutting it...

Eh... please excuse my ignorance, where is my archive menu?

It'sthis page and the next one...

The archive menu is the dropdown menu box between the actual image and the navigation buttons. It appears that you only put something in the "page title" field in a few of your pages, and left the rest blank. As such, there's no way to easily identify which page is which for the reader.

Well . . . son of a gun! They were correct, it does read/flow better. Good decision! I'm not detecting any problem with the page loss.
