So I got the trial version of Open Canvas 4.5, and the layers are giving me trouble. On the old, free Open Canvas, you could scan in a picture, then make a new layer to color it. The color would stay behind the black outlines so it looked neat and clean. But when I use 4.5, no matter how I order the layers, I can't get the same effect with my scanned pictures.
Any advice?
