So I've been playing Oblivion a lot recently, and I happened to walk into town for some reason that I can't remember. And as I do, a guard stops me and starts to rant about how I've broken the law. Now that wouldn't be such a big deal, except I looked at my bounty, and it was 763 gold! How the fuck did that happen? The only time it's gotten that high is when I killed a guard, and that went up to 1023 gold.
Unfortunately, I don't have the money right now to pay off my fines at the theives guild. Also, it's really hard to get money when you can't sell anything because the guards are chasing you. So basically, I'm screwed.
Anyway, I was just wondering what the bounty on some of my fellow Oblivion players is? And if you've payed it off, what's the highest it's ever been?

I stole a horse and got like 300 on my dude. You get a better brown horse at the cloud heaven temple if you look over in the stable. Its a brown horse that I've been using forever. My guys level 12 now and I'd say I'm a good ways through the game. I'm working on the mages guild crap now.

Yeah, it was. I got the super awesome death horse from the Dark Brotherhood now though.
