The way I see it, since Iraq is majority Shiite, they'd prefer to be either absorbed by Iran or at least maintain extremely friendly relations with Iran.

No, Obama is not America's greatest president. A great president is judged many, many years after he has left office. There have been some great accomplishments by many other presidents. Obama has yet to place himself among the great presidents. He is riding a wave of popularity and people like him because he's folksy and relatable, i guess (I don't see what that has to do with being president). I didn't vote for him because I didn't think he had the experience to lead us through troubled times. Well, we shall see. I do not want to see him fail, however, for all of our sakes.
