George W. Bush did a better job last year, but I know no one around here would ever admit that. ;) As bad a president as he was, he was funny. Even when he didn't intend to be. Gotta love those Bushisms. lol!

I was just about to say the same thing. The only time I ever smiled because of that man was when he was making his speeches during the correspondence's dinners.
Those were my two cents.

Not really! He's a socialist to the core and he's going to destroy this wonderful nation built on capitalism into the dirt and we'll end up like the Soviet Union, dead or horribly poor. Wow, these next 4 years are going to suck! >_<

HA HA HA HA. Oh god. I laugh every time I see a statement like this.
I suppose you're going to blame him for putting the economy in the toilet now, aren't you?
No my good sir the problem with the states today is that you guys allowed Bush to fuck up with the country for eight years allowing the worst aspects of capitalism to surface and fuck everything up. Capitalism is far from perfect just like socialism has many flaws.
I don't think that Obama has it in him to fix all the damages that he's inherited from the Bush administration and that will probably be his downfall.
Those were my two cents.

I always laughed when he would talk about their dog in his serious Obama tone. Love how he's always in speech mode, no matter what the subject is.

anyone who has seen Obama in action and whom is no idiot is with him. He is doing America a world of good, and most people in other countries cheered for him, not that square McCain. America would've lost respect if he won.

I'm the only one in the world who doesn't like him.
Well, he's better than ol' Stevey Harper up in parliament here in Canada.

How can anyone be as cool as him? He had the balls to simultaneously outdo Rick Astley and ruin John McCain's speech! Check this fake video:

I'm gonna have to disagree. His economic plan wasn't that great, neither was McCains, but.. you get the idea. The only reason he's in the white house right now is because he's black.. well technically half-black. He has yet to do anything for America that is actually improving it..So far he's been doing nothing but enjoying the spotlight as well as his family.

actually he's been reversing most of bush's biggest decisions. some for better, some for worse.
that's my two cents.

Threads like this are why I don't take anyone around here seriously when it comes to politics. It always seems like everyone here is incredibly biased. And given that DD seems to have a very liberal leaning, I just assume that everyone here purposely avoids listening to anything on Fox so they don't really know what's on the channel. I would probably think that everyone avoids MSNBC and the New York Times if the political alignment of the site were different.
Personally, I think he's just as likely to screw up as Bush, Clinton or any of their predecessors. So far I haven't seen a lot to convince me that he's a radical departure from the world's previous politicians, but I recognize that we're really not that far in to this yet.
