Is anyone going? I really want to go, but none of my friends are really into comics...so no one wants to go. I'm sad. Forty dollars is a lot to drop for something you don't like.

I feel like I should go... being that I'm now in NY and always complaining about having nothing to do, but I just don't know...
Nerds in large numbers make me uncomfortable... I don't know if I could handle it.
Although a few weeks ago, they were advertising on craigslist about needing some women to dress as assorted nerdular icons for fat cash at the con. I briefly considered it.
I don't know anyone who would want to go with me, either, though...

NEW YORK Comic con!? Go figure I never knew...
I was at San Diego comic con last year, it was fun and I'd reccomed that every "nerd" attend at least once, but wow I can't even imagine what comic con in New York would be like!

I could probably make it, considering that I live a state away, but do I really WANT to? Ehhhhh.....It'd be kinda cool, but I don't have any money so I'd also be kinda bored.

It's pointless to go on friday, cause it's only open to the public for about five hours...then saturday is sold out, and that leaves sunday. forty dollars. If I lived closer, or had a bunch of friends that liked comics as much as I, I would be there in a heartbeat, but alas, I am alone. I told my friend that stan lee was going to be there, and she had no idea who he was. Oh well, I do plan to go to WW in chicago over the summer.

wow cons! I remeber last year in San Diego they had to turn away something like 10,000 people who waited in line to get Saturday Passes o_O that would totally suck! kinda glad I'm not tempted to wade through the NY mess. Someone who is attending should take pics though.... ^_^

why, you ask? I really don't know; I'm not much of a convention-going type (giant crowds tend to freak me out) but my friend Kathleen got free passes, so I'm going! plus it's only $35 for a round-trip bus ticket... and there are probably gonna be some cool people there... LIKE MEE! heh heh!!!
