My comic's explanation:


For whatever reason back in March I was inspired to create a many-paged comic story, for which I went back to a childhood character (the 3-eyed creature) I made-up because he's fairly easy for me to draw. And as of right now, none of the main characters have names. This comic is written in a sequential order, and it's meant to be viewed or read from page 1 as a comic book style webcomic.

Despite the unusual appearance of the characters, it's a fairly realistic comic, with a humorous slant. I try as much as possible to work personal experiences into the story line to try and maintain a sort of freshness to the material. I apologize that it's wordy, but hopefully the dialog is decent enough to make up for my lack of drawing skills.

It's drawn by pencil, and then inked with a Sharpie or pilot style pen. After it's drawn, I scan it, and shade it in Photoshop, and fix a few minor mistakes. Right now, I will try and update Not Mars a minimum of once a week, but while I'm inspired I may upload as many as 4 or 5 a week. Anyway I hope you guys like it... I put a lot of time and thought into the material.

And if you need to comment, please keep in mind this is just a creative outlet (hobby) for me. I am not a professional illustrator or writer and never intend to be. It's just something I enjoy doing.
