With that in mind, I figure that a "Perfect" game wouldn't be hindered by the 1-10 score. Ten would be the score for just a really good game, a perfect game would be, like 11.


I was thinking more along the lines of 17, but that works too.

Then there wouldn't be a reason to have a rating system. Why should we if we know that nothing in this world is perfect. But all in all, I for one welcome the #10.

Depends on the Zelda and Oblivion was WAY too buggy to be perfect, not to mention the gameplay is far from universally appealing and the visual design left the game world looking bland and boring.

Really, though, ten shouldn't be a mark of perfection. There is no point in having a rating system with an unattainable high mark. Movies tend to get rated on a ten point system (usually represented by stars and half stars) and frequently hit the top rating. It is more a subjective grading scale, like judging in figure skating. Games can get 10's without being absolutely perfect.

Most Zelda games seem oerfect to me including Orcarina of time and Twilight princess.
