I'm having a litle trouble with the html, I want to make it so that there's a seperate bacground for the comments and author's notes, can anyone help?

I'm not sure what you mean by "separate background," but if you can find another comic here that uses the type of layout you're looking for, you can peek at the HTML by right-clicking and selecting "view source" or just contact the comic's creator and ask them how they did it.

I figured it out, and it was setting the backround to the table is what I needed to do. It's really obious now that I think of it
