And now... for the grandest, most ambitious group pic project that I know of to date... (Lord knows if it'll turn out to be my best :x)

EL PARKO THEMO.

In American Can'tspeakspanish, that is... pretty simple premise, but not so simple execution: I want to try and get a clean 100 people (more, preferably ;) ) into one HUMONGOUS group picture, the theme of this one being an amusement park. There'll be layer upon layer of backgrounds, rides, shops, and tourists visiting, and hopefully lots of fun for our park-goers. =) As for the price, because of the sheer enormity and complexity of assembling and coloring it (yes, it'll be inked and colored by computer =) ), the charge is twenty bucks per character to get in... ten bucks for kiddie characters. -_^ Hey now, it's a family environment after all. =D

(Plus I figure it's a good way to get more characters squeezed in... >.>)

NOW, there's literally no limit to how many people I'll take for this one, so even if you see this thread several months after I've started it, there's a very good chance I'll still be working on it and still have a slot available for you. =) So don't be shy, drop a line if you've got the cash (or someone willing to sponsor you *) and don't miss the fun!

For those of you here not in the know, the primary reason for all this fundraising is that I've been trying to save up/earn enough money to be able to take a vacation and go to Anthrocon 2008 this June... I'm opening up 100 slots (with more available) so I can try and raise $2,000 for the trip and take care of all my fundraising in one fell swoop, and so I can make this thing worth everyone's while. =) Make it something worth investing in, y'know...

I'd like to try and drum up support for this as quickly as possible, as I've found a good deal on a hotel but I don't have much time to get the reservation booked... therefore, I need to try and raise as much money as I can in the shortest amount of time possible. :x My goal is to try and wipe out my fundraising duties for Anthrocon 2008 in one fell swoop, which's why I came up with this idea in the first place... it's a HUGE picture, but I think I can pull it off in a quick enough time and easily enough now that I have experience, so I think I'm ready now to tackle my vacation-funding problems all at once. =)

It'd be really sweet if I can. =D

One last note, too... this thing started on a furry forum (the Jack forum), and I'm better at drawing anthro characters, but if you really want in and use a human avatar instead, I'll gladly give that a shot, too. =) It'll prob'ly suck, but... >.>
