My Comic is not searchable by name on site?

Hey all,
Just another quick question... When I search for my comic "Dot Dot Dot" in the drunk duck search field, my comic doesn't appear in the search results. I was just wondering if that's normal or if I need to change a setting or something to make it searcheable by people visiting the site?

Cheers,
Graeme

Unfortunately you're a victim of the search's programming. When it was written it was told to ignore any search terms of 3 letters or less (I guess to ignore words like the, of, an, etc... Of course that means that it's also going to ignore 'dot' :[ This has happened to other comics too.

Google's search will still find it, but that's probably not much consolation.

It's more than three letters though, there are 3 three letter words with spaces! :)

It may be as Skool says or it just may be that the comic hasn't been added to the search yet. It can take a while for that to happen.

Seeing as how your comic was added on the 25th, Skool is probably correct :(

Since each word is only 3 letters, it think it's just ignoring each instance. "dot dot dot" is just as ignorable as "dot" by itself, or even something like "the one dot" or "a big dot" ... :/ I really don't understand why they programmed it that way. If they could program it to ignore words under 3 letters, they'd have been better of programming it to ignore the specific words they didn't want like the, a, an, of...

Thanks for the clarification guys. I can see how this could be a problem! Does anyone know of a way around this issue? Other than me changing the name of my comic!
Cheers,
Graeme

Well it's still not showing up...
The best soloution would really be to delete it and change the name to DotDotDot like your nick. Sorry man. Although I don't know if many people look for DD comics directly by name through the DD search engine anyway.

Well that sucks! I guess I'll have to think about it for a bit! I don't know if it's worth deleting everything and starting over or not... Thanks for looking into it guys. Much appreciated!
Cheers,
Graeme
