I guess Pantera, Devil Driver, and Six Feet Under mainly... I only like a few of their songs. I only have The Great Southern Trendkill from Pantera because I think its their Heaviest album, and even their heaviest could be considered radio friendly. I dont have any Devil Driver albums and dont intend to get any because I really only like the song "End of the Line"..... and I only like the song "Shadow of the Reaper" from Six Feet Under, because the vocals are pretty sick on the Chorus and it has a pretty good head banging breakdown in the middle of it... I personally like Chris Barnes' vocals more in SFU than when he was in Cannibal Corpse, though many would disagree with that.

As far as Pantera and Devil Driver goes, I'm ashamed to mention I like a few of their songs because they are both quite trendy mallcore bands. For Six Feet Under, well, Barnes is a bit of a sell out, the whole pothead death metal theme is pretty gay, and their music is unbelievably simplistic, as in boring.

I normally listen to much more extreme stuff like Obituary Morbid Angel, Deicide, Immortal, Gorgoroth and the like. But every once in a while... I kinda like their songs. I guess I'm just not Tr00, Kvlt, Grim and/or Frostbitten. :P

Anatak...I am not familier with these bands but I get the feeling they are pretty heavy and hardcore. I guess in the circles you run listening to Six Feet Under may be considered...ummm...gay and may not want to leak listening to them...but to me if it sounds heavy and they play heavy, its rockin' heavy!!!....and very far from gay!!!!

I was reading your post and I was waiting for the other showe drop...like out of no where after listening to these extreme hard metal bands you occasionally slip in...

After I moved back from Japan I went through a kind of Japan withdrawal. So I downloaded Japanese music to fill that void. At about that time, American radio stations started to really suck, so I found myself just listening to J-pop all the time.

A lot of Japanese music is like American music but in the Japanese language, but some of it is just hyper and upbeat and at times... cute.

I don't listen to Jpop around people I know. I just say, "You go ahead and handle the radio".
