Basically, think of any fighting game you've ever played, or heard about and combine them into one giant slugfest! It would look pretty much like this.

I'm surprised that I haven't found a post about this game already.

I was considering manuplating MUGEN to make a Fightsplosion! game.

Then I realised I'm too stupidsauce to do so.

It's a very cool idea. I heard a lot about it being awesome when executed properly, though I heard it's pretty hard to get characters set up.
Having never tried it, though, I couldn't really say.

I'm also doing that other comic "Space Waffles ".
We now have a podcast called The Random Pirate Comics Show!

Yeah I've heard about this game. It looks awesome but I really have no idea where to begin doing all the customizing to get it to actually work.

I find it funny that the background music is from a turn-based strategy game.

Turn based strategy games are just fighting games with a story line and automatic pauses for smoke/drink breaks. So I kinda fits.

I don't know, Super Robot Taisen (the song is from one of the PSX games, I think) kind of has a heavier emphasis on long range attacking than your average fighting game. Now maybe if they had taken music from Namco X Capcom...

oh I've always wanted something like this, even in 1995 me and my schoolmates use to make animations in wich we fight against teachers or school directives. We used an old software called Autodesk Animator Pro. I'm glad you posted this because MUGEN seemed a bit complicated to configure, and I couln't find any official forum or something like that. Here's the one I saw on youtube:

hey guys if you are really interested in finding out how to work M.U.G.E.N. check out http://www.mugenfury.com . I'm still working on figuring it out myself but this site has a faqs that looks pretty promising at least as far as it comes to setting up characters and what not.

www.mugenguild.com is the best place to find info on this in my opinion. I've been active in the mugen "community" since 2000 and am a global mod on guild.

In the mugen community you can find me as The Dreamslayer, TDS, or Open Source.

I never made anything that I felt like releasing, I mostly helped others by ripping sprites, making sprite edits, ripping sounds, tutorials, and giving feedback.

The 2 developers I would suggest to get works from are
http://mugenguild.net/~pots

You can find my sprite rips at http://forum.paodemugen.com.br/index.php?showforum=110 [forum.paodemugen.com.br]

In fact, now that I think about it, these would be good for any sprite comic developers here.
Is there a sticky somewhere to link to resources like this?

Read "The Devon Legacy".

My brain melted when I tried to create cool characters... How the heck do they make DBZ guys, Peter from Family Guy, and wrestling guys into those games?! If I knew how, I'd buy it again, and make an Avatar of Cthulhu.
