It's only like 6 hours from Fort Knox to Detroit. I used to take "weather passes" (whether or not you get caught, lol) to Michigan on regular 2 day weekends all the time. Maybe you could just come up on Saturday. I'll have a hotel so you're welcome to stay with me if you need to, Tanker (though your family is nearby I think).
Seriously, it'd be fun to meet you and do horrible things to you while you sleep. ;)

Man, I always go to. I even went when I was stationed in Germany. But i'm only 800 miles away and I can't make it.
