i dont care about all those awards. but i went and saw this film today, and it was truly, truly amazing. Probably the best movie i've seen all year. Great acting, by the one man in the film.
definatly the best 7 dollars i spent. it was even worth the 45 minute drive, with all the other nebraskan drivers. (yeah, that good)

Reminds me of those short stories about such scenarios from the 30,s 40,s 50's and 60's. As such this is very old, well trodden territory. But then what isn't?
The sets and costumes etc look great! I wonder why the massive homage to 2001 though?
Love the vacuum hair cutter. Didn't they have one of those in Wayne's world? Garth freaked out when it malfunctioned on his head :)
