Because these are digital, they have a much broader range of motion, and you can pose everything down to individual fingers. I'd use it more often, but the models are currently on my dead laptop.

-Is the laptop hard drive dead? If not you may be able to take it out and hook it up to your PC or take it to a technician so they can do it and download the contents for you. It's not tooo hard to do.

I'm not sure. I think it might be the motherboard, but...well, it's hard to say. There might be an easier way, though. I think I might just be able to re-download it for free.

Edit: Looks like they've made some of their base male and female models available for free. Think you still have to buy the skin to view muscles, but if all you need is something to pose this works out great.

glad to hear you can get some figures for free then. there's no reason to charge so much money for something that you can learn for free. i mean a maniquin can cost around 20 bucks or so, depending on what you buy, and then to take it upon yourself and learn muscule mass and what not by looking up diagrams and things like that, that's pretty much for free.
maby there's somethin i'm missing, and i dont wanna sound like the creeky old bitch who's stuck in the old ways, but i just dont see the point of going out and buying expensive software, when you can learn it yerself and be more equip wether or not ya have a computer in front of ya. if there's a link for the free models though, feel free to post it and thanks for the info.
